Well, we are voting for songs, not Acchan, and I love RIVER. It just means that many people here also think it's a great song
It's an international forum where 95% of the members have never been to the theatre, and it's a lot easier to source singles and stuff via things like the official Youtube channel etc
It's great indeed. I shudder everytime i hear it. Too bad it ranked so low in 2013 RH list. [think] I actually have enough confidence that RIVER would place in top 3 without actually vote for it.. Well, using that one person's name did raise some sentiment.. i'll avoid using 'that one's name' from now on.. Also, Hebirote has ranks steadily at 4 at both RH list and S48, interesting..
I'm happy to see RIVER and shonichi in the top 10, The first song i heard of AKB in shibuya was River... Ah, i am so nostalgic. Is it possible to link an embedded code for the top 10, like from youtube? For those who wants to get back to the PV ^^

We can argue, as 7th place is also taken by stage song UZA is totally uzai on list... one of most bland 48's songs ranks 3rd. Mistery to solve.
There are quite a few good songs missing O: I remember last year: I made a playlist out of this result and realized how great Mori he Ikou is !!! I was quite sure it would rank again (and my no.1 Kizashi didn't rank too !!) but SYNCHRO TOKIMEKI dfskjulhig !!! I only gave it 2points even though i heard no other song for weeks so I'm happy it's so high!!
I love Kizashi too! Its just SO KII and Churi especially. I hope it makes it next year ---- What happened to Nogizaka?!

Wow, that ranking is something else. At least one third of the songs I voted for didn't even make the list. I guess I have strange taste in songs. I'm honestly surprised (though I probably shouldn't be) that the song rankings don't somewhat reflect RH2013. I guess that's what happens when people actually vote for songs they like rather than the members who perform them. I'm not surprised, however, at River and Beginner ranking so high and even being tied. People tend to have the same amount of high esteem for both of those songs. If we're voting for message and lyrics, the top 10 is very good and not unexpected. I'm a little sad Zetsumetsu didn't rank higher, and the only SDN song that ranked was Kodoku na Runner. SDN has amazing songs.
Or maybe, just maybe, a BUNCH of the voters somehow made the same mistake I did and voted only for 2012 releases. No, no, I know that's probably not true because most people can read. I still don't know what convinced me that was the rule. But going for best songs of all time, my submissions would have been dramatically different. At least my favorite songs from the lost stages made it onto my ranking, since those CDs had just been released.
I'm assuming that this rule is only valid for the duration of the submission of the song list. Since the results are out maybe we can reveal what we vote for. I'm rather curious on what the new members choice of song is.
