Where the heck is their official debut at

 

@bonjourmarlene For reference look at Noimii - the members (except Natsumi) were introduced on February 24th, 2019, they made their major debut on July 14th, 2021. So it took them roughly 2y5m to get there. NearJOY members (except Aimi) were introduced on March 29th last year, so around 1y3m. But let's hope it won't take as long as Noimii, because I also wish for their major debut to happen soon.

Sasshi brought this concept over from AKB, the other groups also first released songs as b-sides to AKB48 with a couple of songs before making an official debut (at least HKT48 did it that way)

Don't get me wrong, I think it makes a lot of sense to do it this way. This way, fans will buy Niajoy's music without having to fully commit to being a fan just yet and sister groups can support the new group.

I just wish it didn't take 2.5 years for them to make their official debut with their own music

Probably gonna be another Reno center (well she's the groups center after all), but I wish that they at least until their debut keep rotating the center for sister group b-sides.

 

I really like the song, it's so cute! I look forward to full lyrics to properly understand, but the video seems to be about missing your mum while being an active idol. The mum sent her a letter, which she read at the start, and LINE messages throughout (such as a chicken emote asking "Are you well?" and a text asking "Are you eating properly?", right after she burned pancakes). It's beautiful how the mum watches the music video at the end and smiles

After the first -and only- listen: it's a good song, I like it, but nothing "special" to me. Have to listen to it a few times, maybe it will grow more on me. Congratulations to Ichihara!
