2017 Senbatsu Election Predictions/Hopes/Dreams & Etc

My HKT oshi Mioten wants to enter senbatsu, which I would love, but it will be really hard considering she goes against Annin and Mako who many ppl think are overdue for senbatsu, Komiharu who guilt trips her fans all the time and Miichan who is participating one last time and No3b fans will support hard. There is also Miru, who is candidate for 2nd NMB rep in senbatsu.
I don't think Mio will enter senbatsu, but I hope for UG center at least.

It's very likely Juri will drop of senbatsu in my opinion.
Yuihan may finally enter Kami 7 which means heavy hyperventilating.
Dasu will probably drop out of Kami 7.

My biggest wish is that Mayu wins. Oh and Miorin ranking again!

I hope more NGT girls rank. Rena, Noepii and Moeka are unlikely, but I really wish they would.
Aaya should be able to rank somewhere in Upcoming Girls.
I hope Hanna doesn't rank or ranks 80 so management can stop pushing her so much.
I hope Rara ranks so she stops beating herself up.

I think Sayaka and Sakura will outrank Jurina for some reason.

 

Annin is probably not applying...

 

I'm going to predict that HKT kenkyuusei Toyonaga Aki will rank.

As for Miichan, she did say in her speech last year that it was her last one, didn't she?
Plus, she got to center a song, so I'd say she's content with that.

I think Sayanee wasn't that sure about participating again until Kouhaku, but she never made it sound explicit, so it's alright.

But yeah, Miichan running again... dunno how I feel about that.

Actually now that I think about it, there's a trend for girls to drop at elections after doing more fashion work/things that appeal more to female fans. There's Tomochin, Paruru and Milky. All my faves, all tanked at elections after moving towards a more girl crush concept. I hope I jinx Sakura a little hehe.

I personally like Sayanee a lot, but this is disappointing. Pretty sure the fans who powervoted her last year for this reason would not forget, unless they are crazily devoted and forgiving. Hopefully Sayanee has gained a lot of new fans since.

I think Sayanee not participating would hurt NMB more than help. Unless Miru makes it to senbatsu, they can't afford to lose her there.
Plus, with all the stuff she's had going on for her this year (album, tour, 1st in Kouhaku...) she has everything in her favour to make a splash.

With Miichan, I don't know.
I know she wants to get back in senbatsu and all, but I'd sit it out knowing I centered a good song and let it go.

But ohwell, I guess it makes it all more exciting the more contenders we have.

Disappointing tbh.

I expected every big member who said they wouldn't apply this year to have spoken with management beforehand. Sayanee is a pro, she knows the situation she is working in. So I do not buy the excuse that their hand was forced. It's not like announcing the last SSK serves any purpose other than making fans go crazy with the voting.

TBH, no matter who joins after declaring it their last SSK last year, I hope they all lose some votes for it.

 

Lesson learned: Only trust their action. Never their word.
