If the rumours that SKE wota are planning to powervote Ryoha this year are true, we could expect to see her as high as 17 :^^;:

so if sasshi who was predicted to drop turned out to be the winner by a landslide last year, i think there's a fair chance to assume that she may not win this year. There were many factors that contributed to her win last year that are no longer applicable this year so I won't be surprised if someone else win or at the least, a decrease in her votes.

Then again, if sashi gets a 20K gap over #2 in the preliminaries, then she got it in the bag already.

Puffin holds her puffin in the Sousenkyo Appeal Speech [hehe]

By now, only 3 members were able to break 10k Appeal Speech viewers. They are Takamina, Sayanee, and Paruru. :hehe:

Did Sayanee really eat that? x___x

Also, I was looking for the Maedas appeals in their channel and Acchan's video appeared (the one where she said she wouldn't run in the 2012 election).
    Oh, my heart.

Sayanee and Takamina had the best videos imo. I watched every video, and most didn't make much of an impression. But I guess I'm the type who'd like to see a funny video more than a heartfelt plea for votes. There were definitely a few girls who talked very seriously about themselves. It's too bad that there were so few interesting videos though. I feel like that's one place where a lot of girls can really show off their particular quirks and sense of humor. Honorable mention to Chiyori, Nao, Kanakichi, and any girl who brought on live animals. (By the way, I am willing to translate any of the videos by request, PM me if you want).

I do find letting the Team 8 girls run for election (and therefore be given the chance to make appeal videos) a masterstroke though - this was a perfect way for each Team 8 girl to introduce herself in a way that many people will end up watching. It saves management the trouble of figuring out another way to introduce all the girls in a memorable way to the fans. It makes me think that this might have been the entire point of letting them run for election while not having done anything with the group.

I'm thrilled that Tomu's video has a healthy amount of views! She's crushing Yagi and Mocchi :p

When Mocchi pulled out the letter, I was terrified that it was like a graduation announcement or something T_T

Yagi's diagram made me chuckle :p

I'm going to do a full ranking with all the views per member this week (probably in the next weekend). In case you had this idea, don't do it!111 haha I did a Top 100 last year (if I remember correctly) but this year I'm doing the full thing :^^;: It's a great way to measure popularity, even if it's influenced by some external things (Position in the playlist, time of the upload etc.).

You should put it in spoiler...and also triple posts

    SKIP

The main issue for me is who will be the next SKE member that going to be powervoted? Last year it was Dasu
I'm not sure this year it will be Yuria (she definitely would be if there was no shuffle :^^;:)
    Ryoha? maybe

The ones who are unpredictable are Ikoma, Akicha, + one SKE member

No way SKE powervotes Yuria now that she's not SKE anymore. It's supposed to be Ryoha
