just watched the 3rd gen live from AiiA and i gotta say 3rd gen needs a whole lotta polishing. i could give examples but most of you wont care so ill save my breath. needless to say they wont be the future of nogizaka46 anytime soon (a novelty yes, but serious contenders for sakamichi throne, no). 21 kanji keya killed it in less than a year, 3rd gen doesnt have that appeal. they gonna put in their time just like 2nd gen. just my thoughts
Momoko and Yoda are the centers of the 18th single, the future is now. Yes, they are less polished at 10 months than Keyaki-chan at the same time, but that's because 3rd Gen isn't the only thing for management to focus on. There is the main group as well. They have less pressure and focus to be perfect immediately, and can take some time to becoming the best idols they can be. They were joining a well established group, so less need for perfection. They will get there sooner than you know. Keyaki-chan management had to focus 100% on getting them off the ground. With luck and Silent Majority they did so with a bang. I think comparing 3rd Gen to Kanji is the wrong comparison. Compare them to Hiragana Keyaki -- a new set of members joining an established group. 3rd Gen compares very favorably against them. The AiiA live was back in May. At the start of July, they opened the Summer Tour at Jingu. They must've been polished enough to be trusted to open the tour.
Comparing main Keyaki w/ 3rd gen, really? Anyway, I thought their opening number in Jingu had more oomph. I'm glad management has decided to rectify their mistakes from 2nd gen and give 3rd gen the push it needs.
Dude... That's not fair comparasion tbh. As non pioneer, these girls rise very fast. Everybody know that. Both in popularity and else. They are choosen among more than 40 hundreds applicants. Netizens used to joke that audition of Nogi 3rd gen was harder than any other group or agency. Management have valid reason why they push 3rd gen. They've learn from 2rd gen and Hiragana keyaki. Now, in Aki-p Girl group universe, Nogi 3rd gen is most succesful push to date (exclude the 1st gen because their case always different). not only one or two member who almost as popular as regular senbatsu, but half of them (and half will rise soon).

Just ended. More than half of the 3rd gens showed up near the end. Missing were Kubo-chan, MomoYoda, Rentan, and Ririan who had to go.
When they started singing happy birthday, I was hoping to see the lot of them (and the other generations as well). But it was great that they could share her SHOWROOM birthday live. Did I hear Hazuki right when she said it was her first SHOWROOM showing her face? Wasn't she one of the two that went anonymous during their audition SHOWROOMs? Sorry, I may be wrong as I understood very little of the conversations...
