I agree about it being overused, but it's better then Anata and Anata has been EVERYWHERE recently (NGT48 KKS, SKE48 KKS perform in regularly, which are the stages I watch the most).

If I was trying my hardest to come up with a more boring setlist I doubt I could do worse than this.

The setlist wasn't the greatest, but I'm impressed with how much they've already improved. Im excited to see how they move forward as a gen with all the upcoming performances!

    That setlist :asdfgh:

A1 and then these units -.-
I swear if I have to listen to Glass no I love you, Skirt-Hirari or Seifuku no Jama one more time I will explode..
At one point I was suprised Temodemo wasnt in it..

Well the shit choices put aside, they improved compared to the 11th anniversary. Manaka so good.

The units... well, it's your typical KKS units, I mean they wouldn't straight up give End Roll or Faint to KKS, right? I somehow always forgive Skirt, Hirari or Nagisa Cherry (if they put it in the setlist) inclusion since those are like the "groomed center/kami 7" unit, so we can see which of these babies are going to be pushed. Even after years of watching different people performing it (my oshi included), for some unknown reasons, I can't stand Glass no I Love You. Nice to know that performance wise they did good, I hope they can keep it up.

Also, after seeing this gen dynamic, I can't help but wishing for a Nounai Paradise tbh, it's a well balanced stage fit for KKS, and the fact that the stage has never been revived, except one time by HKT 2nd gen KKS, so it might be fresher.

Tbh I think these old songs are basics of the basics of AKB and every noobie member has to dance through them so they can actually be part of the family. Just treat it as initiation, baptism or some kind of ritual lol

I can tell you why the setlist looks like that.

It's mostly the same songs they performed for their debut at the Anniversary stage :^^;:

Instead of learning all new songs they just reinforced they ones they already knew. Not a bad strategy for practicing and getting better, which is, after all, the point of their first stage. I never expect a first-stage setlist to be spectacular :p

practice lessons are meant to get better, not stages.

This is a KKS stage and I believe the ticket is cheaper? sometimes even if you did great in practice, it will be a different matter when you perform in front of a live audience.

i understand this is a kks stage, my point is they could have come up with a much more interesting setlist with the same dificulty as this one, to me this is just lazy management.

    Having watched the Shonichi...
Yeah, the setlist sucks, but they're not going to be doing A6 from the getgo lol

Loved seeing Maichan not giving a f*** again. :^O^:

Also, I swear to God, Izumin is a Nanamin clone.

Can you believe I've never listened to Anata to full? I haven't.
So I don't know if this was a good performance or not... but it sounded pretty nice.

Orin slayed that Kuroi Tenshi. Tomu must be proud. :cute:

Is Sakipon's dream to become Rapunzel? That hair. :^^;:

RIVER and First Rabbit were VERY good.

It was a very nice stage, IMO.
They are obviously far from the teams that bid farewell to the likes of Acchan, Tomochin and the like, but it's a good start.

It's also very obvious that they're going to push Manaka and Minami as the next Atsumina (Manamina? lol) and I can't disagree.
They're both great performers but they're still pretty different.
Manaka is the sweet child who does everything well. Minami is the serious and focused student who wants to improve.
So yeah, bring those W-centers. :inlove:

How? By giving them less oft-performed songs? But then that won't help them at all when they go to perform in a concert or elsewhere when these songs are a staple.

How about letting the girls decide from their favorite songs?
And that goes for every team lol

Manaka is a freaking AKBpedia. I'm sure she knows more (and better?) songs than HGV and Kuroi Tenshi.

That's not a bad idea I guess, that might be a revival stage itself lol

To be honest, I wish they performed new songs instead of songs they already performed. It doesn't really help with practice. It's not like they'll perform those songs forever. Instead, I think that they should've performed completely new songs since songs like HGV are/will be performed a lot. My point is, knowing more songs is better than performing songs that'll be performed a lot and fail at other songs.
