17kenkyuujo #29 short review (April 7) Bibiri-1 GP (#1 Fraidy-cat Grand Prix) This episode contents include YukitanOu (Who knows Yukitan the best) as well as the main segment of Bibiri-1 GP. YukitanOu was won by Mayuu, which might be the result of them going out together a lot in private. The main segment is your usual variety reaction test, with staff getting science-y by using heart rate monitor smartwatch (they are RESEARCH student after all) The most Fraidy-cat and the bravest one will be determined from the highest jump from their average heart rate after the various challenges. Surprisingly, based on this assumption, the ones that show big reactions are actually not high on rate increase. Who do you think was the most Fraidy-cat and the bravest one ? I feel like their reaction game really needs more improvement. To be honest I didn't really enjoy the reactions this time. Just because they don't "feel" it. Or because it's in English/Unreadable Kanji. Or because it seems cheesy with symbols. The catch is that they did all this without knowing who actually wrote those. Like them tearing down Miichan's JAPANESE CRAZY GIRL slogan: Or Nonchan tearing down her respected Naachan's slogan: The other twist is that their own creations are also included in there, so they were trying hard to appeal so it doesn't get torn down by the others. Some weren't as lucky though. The last 10 were put in a tournament style, and debated/discussed and then voted to choose the best. Seems a bit biased since 5 of 17ki's slogans got into the top 10. One part is a rare show of Aichan's competitiveness, she was trying hard to appeal her slogan to be voted when it seems to be losing against the other one by Yukinee. (They don't know who wrote the slogan until it's eliminated) So far, it's interesting for me! Moreover they finally passed 1700 subs! Thanks for the boost, STU48 ! Ah I assume since the full show can only be seen by being subscriber, some STU48 fans would register to see their oshis. Anyway no proof just what the Lab Chief (narrator) says on the show haha. Events like fanmeeting, exclusive theater show, or the upcoming Solo Event also usually boost the number of subs since one account can only apply once and some fans made multiple accounts and subscribe to ensure they get higher chance of getting the spot.
