i dont understand how the others were singing live but Itomomo's kawaikutegomen's performance (she did sing live in other songs) . i really like her, but it felt a bit unfair. Yuichi's dance in Body and Soul and Sarii's energy and voice control in momoiro's song were amazing.

a lot of it is playback - fishy song is playback, but it's one of my favorite parts. i am thankful for body and soul. the whole second half was playback, and they didn't do NO WAY MAN...

I've only been able to watch the first day of the concert, but Itomomo's performance was quite heavy on the dancing, so maybe dancing and singing at the same time would be too difficult? It was definitely my favourite of the first day performances. I really like that you can see all the other members joining in from the background!
I think the difference is probably that for the Momoclo song, she doesn't have to sing the whole song, so even if she is dancing with so much energy there, she still has enough energy to sing her lines live here and there. But for Kawaikute Gomen, she's all alone on stage and she dances non-stop with lots of energy, it would really be difficult to sing live the whole time tbh I'm sure sure she can sing the song live just fine if she doesn't have to jump around and dance and make cute expressions the whole time lol. I didn't watch the whole concert though, so I'm not sure if there are more lipsynced performances but yes I understand that for this one, she has to lipsync it. it's still an extremely enjoyable performance to watch because of all her energy there! and it's hard to perform solo because it can often feel like the stage is "empty" but she manages to avoid it. She has good stage presence! in the Momoclo performance too!
i mean, i dunno why some songs are playback and others are live, but aichan/azu not singing the fish song is not because of any of those reasons maybe it's a lack of ability or a lack of confidence? but is that really acceptable? i posted another akb version of the same song in #off-topic and they sing it live... i know it's not exactly the same level/energy, but it's live and i find it quite endearing. anyway, this whole event has been quite entertaining and i have watched and re-watched it multiple times already. i think i'm going to miss it when it's over.
