That's what the gimmicks are for: to guaranty good sales for the single even with a girl like Izuta or Nakamata as center. Look at last year's single : Paruru wasn't a really big name so they added a lot of gimmicks to the single : usual HS tickets + sister group songs + OKL48 + house packaging...
This is not 2010 anymore, this single will sell. :)

I moved the posts talking about why the Limited Editions hadn't sold out yet to the Koi suru Fortune Cookie thread. Given that the janken single for this year hasn't even been available for pre-order yet, I'm going to assume the poster had meant to post that in the current single's thread, and not this one.

On the topic of this year's janken though, yesssssssss, Sakuratan made it in from HKT! :omfg: What I wouldn't give to see a Sakuratan center. Well, either way, hopefully God will be on her side and she can make senbatsu. I'm excited to see what outfit she'll wear to the event anyhow.

That's originally from the official site. ;) Toshi quotes/retweets a lot of information from other Twitter accounts and online articles. He wasn't at the actual venue.

Is anyone already working on a transliteration of the brackets?

For fun here's my opinions on who I'll be cheering for in every block and who I'd like to see win the entire thing:
    A: Yagura Fuuko, Owada Nana
    B: Murakami Ayaka, Morita Ayaka
    C: Takahashi Juri, Fujita Nana
    D: Tsuchiyasu Mizuki, Hirata Rina
    E: Kamieda Emika, Fujie Reina
    F: Kikuchi Ayaka, Sasaki Yukari
    G: Iriyama Anna, Yamauchi Suzuran
    H: Shiroma Miru, Koyanagi Arisa

I can't help the blatant NMB bias, sorry (and sorry Rikako (not actually sorry about Uno, sorry)). I've bolded the ones who I'd like to see win the entire block.
For center I'd be extremely content with Shiroma Miru or Yagura Fuuko. A 15th gen center might be interesting as well.
B block is hilarious with the three NMB Ayaka's. What a coincidence.

Looking forward to the event. In case there's a stream I might have to skip class though...

Here it is, please let me know if I've made any mistakes. There is a small mistake on the sheet, Chikano Rina is listed under Team A instead of K, so if anyone edits the sheet itself be careful of that.

I doubt Juri can win against Maeda, though I hope I was wrong. I actually care more about the girls' costumes instead of the event itself :D If Ricchan wins, the event must be another rigged one

Some of the groups are really ARGGG! I mean, Kawei OR Haruppi? Not both together in senbatsu?

Oh, well... some hopes for the top 16, then...
    - Muto Tomu
    - Owada Nana (go go go gen 15!) or Gojimako or Karen...
    - Tano Yuuka
    - Morita Ayaka (just because, don't know the others save for Takajo and... no)
    - Nagao or Takahashi Juri (why does she have an special symbol?)
    - Miho (so she has a chance to be back in senbatsu)
    - Suzuki Mariya
    - Kato or Nozawa (lol both Renas)
    - Haruppi or Kawaei
    - Fujie Reina
    - MIYU!!!
    - Miyamae Ami (for the sake of having an SKE KKS in)
    - ANNIN
    - RANRAN!
    - don't care

Thank you, I fixed it but I guess it doesn't matter cause there's special colorized charts out now, should have just waited lol. :D

(Although, it is worth noting that the chart shows Matsui Rena, who isn't in the competition - it's actually Jurina. not hard to figure out though)

As for brackets, man... for most of them, I can root for a single person I want to win, but some of these are tough. Kojimako vs Karen makes me frown. Mayu vs Yukirin is indeed hilarious though. Nozawa vs Nyan is sad too.

I'm gonna laugh so hard if it ends up Oshima vs Oshima in H bracket! :^O^: Make it happen!

    Kojima Mako/Iwata Karen/Watanabe Miyuki
    Uno Mizuki/Owada Nana
    Takeuchi Mai/Ishida Haruka/Tomonaga Mio
    Tano Yuka/Murakami Ayaka
    Okita Ayaka/Takajo Aki/Kojima Natsumi
    Furuhata Nao/Morita Ayaka
    Mizuno Honoka/Nagao Mariya/Morikawa Ayaka

    Nozawa Rena/Kojima Haruna
    Ichikawa Miori/Kodama Haruka/Kawaei Rina
    Kamieda Emika/Tanaka Natsumi/Nakamata Shiori
    Izuta Rina/Uchida Mayumi/Chikano Rina
    Sato Amina/Fujie Reina
    Miyawaki Sakura/Matsui Sakiko/Kikuchi Ayaka
    Sato Sumire/Omori Miyu/Isohara Kyoka
    Uchiyama Mikoto/Miyamae Ami/Sasaki Yukari
    Shimazaki Haruka/Tanabe Miku
    Iriyama Anna/Nonaka Misato/Natori Wakana
    Matsumoto Rina/Katayama Haruka/Iwasa Misaki
    Yamauchi Suzuran/Kobayashi Rikako/Umeda Ayaka
    Nakamura Mariko/Yumoto Ami
    Oshima Yuko/Shiroma Miru/Oshima Ryoka
    Oba Mina/Kuramochi Asuka
    Sato Seira/Ichino Narumi/Koyanagi Arisa
    Suzuki Shihori/Oya Shizuka

Honestly though I don't care much who gets into janken singles. It's a great opportunity for any of the girls. :) I'd like to see Kojiharu win it all, not sure why!

How do they decide who goes against who? Purely random? Really funny how Mayu and Yuki are pitted against each other.
