Single AKB48 48th [Negaigoto no Mochigusare] (2017/05/31)

Glad that this song is the one representing AKB. It deserves every success it's going to have.

 

The single was chosen because it has the highest sale among akb singles this year. It has always been like that

Negaigoto no Mochigusare didn't win (Lost to Influencer). Didn't think it had a chance imo.

 

A shame. The song was the best AKB song since Bokutachi wa Tatakawanai imo. Influencer on the other hand...

Nah, ever since JRA started to just automoatically give the award to Exile, it has lost a bit of its prestige. KFC losing years ago was BS.

And for the sake of the whole Aki-P groups though, Nogizaka winning (for the first time right?) is a better narrative over AKB winning for the nth time.

Though still a bit sad though, Negamochi was a solid single. Except maybe for its PV.

 

Nogi should thank Sony though. 2017 is good for Sony overall, I mean, an INCREASE of PS4 exclusives (especially in Japan) and their top tier TVs are getting Dolby Vision!

This year's competition is quite rigid tho, but If AKB were to lose, I expected Daichi's EXCITE or Keya's Kaze to win not to Influencer. It's gonna go down as one of Nogi's best song (and choreo) even without the award accolade, but for me it's just your typical Nogi sound but a more well-composed one.

I fully supported Negamochi to pull through, because sounds wise, it's different than your typical idol or even general J-Pop sound and the lyrics is nice too. I guess, that critics article about AKB songs in NHK Choir competition ruined its momentum.

 

Same... I don't ever think Negaigoto as a good song. It's just a lame song. On the other hand, Influencer was one of the best Nogi's A-side song.

 

Negaigoto is one of my favourite akb48 songs(my favourite is Mori e Ikou so ya know I guess I'm odd) but to each their own. I admit it doesn't sound like a popular song.
I think it has a naff video though so I'm surprised the video was liked.

 

I love both songs. They are two different songs. Two different genres. Not your typical idol songs. Influencer is probably Nogi's best single/song for me. Negai is in my top 5

 

Not saying it's bad, it's just not as good as Influencer.

 

Let's be real, Nogi's only good song is Kimi no Na wa Kibou.

Honestly I like Negaigoto more. Song wise. Also listen it more than Influ.
I cant judge which one better, though, I'm not expert.

Negaigoto is a good song. It's nice to see AKB performed anti-mainstream idol song in JRA..

 

In case someone may forget, this song was made for a choir contest song in the first place.

 

I really love the JRA performance. Orchestra music fits the song perfectly and the dress is beautiful. And of course the choreo and the song itself are still superb.
