Mostly 16th gen now eh

 

When I watch things like this happen, big parts of one team/group applying on one day, I start to wonder if management gives something like an application plan out beforehand and they try to stick to it, so there are applications everyday and the fans don't get bored.
Of course, there is this other theory that they just speak with one another, so no management included, but that makes me wonder again how there are around the same number of applications again on every day in every year.
Know what I mean?
They could easily just name only one day for them to apply, but five days make it much more exciting for the fans, because every day your oshimen isn't applying, you will hope more and more that she does on the following day. It makes this process somehow worth more... for some of us.
(Yes I know that there are those people that can wait and just look up the applications on day 5, lol)

 

It's easier than that lol

They have to go to an specific place to apply (their theater or some HS location).
If they have a performance at the at the theatre on X day, why bother going two days before to apply?
Plus, they're almost all the time moving around with their team mates, hence why we see the same teams applying at the same time.

Sure, there are girls who go out of their way to get it done first, but most won't bother until the last day.

So ... don't they all have to go to AKB theater to apply? That's what it seemed to me the whole time, but now...

AKB girls obviously go to the AKB theatre.
But the SG can probably apply in their own ones.

Last year it was done during Takamina's graduation concert, since the whole 48G was there for it, but this year there isn't any big event involving the whole group, so...

 

As @Trinu pointed out, each group does the application at their own theater.

If there is a HS event during the application period, the members can also turn in their apps there.

 

I see... so do only AKB girls appear in the showroom live?

 

So far, yes. As it has only been streamed from the AKB theater.

So happy yuiyui applied! I really have strong feelings that shes gonna rank in (+lemon chan has got a slot in for sure) given around 20+ people who rank in last year ssk not participating!

 

so Team 8 big guns finally apply, all HKT 2nd gen draftee applying at the same time, which is interesting, most of the KKS from AKB and SKE, a few from K and 4, and Mikurin............

 

I wonder why the big names always apply so late (the usual top 16)

I remember last year I was at the beach checking the thread and the meltdowns because Sayanee and Paruru had not applied until the very last minute were epic lol

 

When the application hand in becomes an event of its own... it would be sad to get nervewrecked by this alone. We just need patience.
