No, it doesn't. What @bonjourmarlene asked was the meaning of the asterisks near the numbers and those are only there to fill the gap of a digit when a number only has one...

What indicates an almost sold slot is the number in brackets...

Something that doesn't even exist in resales.

 

@rka, actually that doesn't explain the asterisk, only the number in brackets.

 

So be it then.
From today onward, my report will no longer include (*) before number.

Personally surprised there are fools misunderstanding the mark at this forum.

Full MV on YouTube! I was watching my way through their videography when the notification popped up, what a nice surprise!

Edit: cute, summery, happy...what's not to like? Not my favourite summer single but definitely not my least favourite either. Solid. Can't wait to see the CD covers!

My thoughts about this single handshake sales:
* AKB:
- The moment you know team A (and team B soon) is the weakest team in the group.
- Yuiri is so powerful. Such a waste.
- Yuiyui is a monster. She sells much faster than the rest of team 8.
- Among AKB next gen, only Naachan, Yuiri, Mion, Yuiyui, and maybe Naru & Rinrin can sell out all slots. The others need a lot of improvement.
- WTF with Renachi & Mako's sale.

* SKE, NMB, HKT:
- Pretty weak sale. Only 2-3 top members can sell out all slots. The other members are far from it.
- Where is Rara?
- Miku sells much better than Nako, Haruppi & Hanachan.

* NGT:
- Kudo the group. They are really strong now. Selling out >50% the total slots is no joke. Also, the number of sold out slots is higher than most of the other groups (~1.5 times), except AKB.
- It is interesting that the fastest sellers are Homma & Gatanee. They are above Ogiyuka & Rika. The hidden monsters.
- Homma, Gatanee, Ogiyuka, Tsugumin have already sold out. Expect Rika & Kato next.

* STU:
- Yumirin have already sold out 12/12!!!

 

They're basically establishing that Mayuyu's the main character, who came on a tourist trip she won in some contest. Sasshi's her tour guide, who was in the same school with her but then transferred (on the nose much??). Then they move along to tourism shots and Mayuyu hashtags being largely "I have no idea who this girl is" and "I would've been fine by myself" should tell you how she feels. They start getting along as the video goes on and at the end they're being emotional about how sad it is their time together has to end. (This is a very general description, I know, feel free to correct me!)

Management soooo wanted Mayuyu to win this time but they "had to" work Sasshi in there, at least that's what it looks like to me.

Also: hey guys remember when people were hating the KNBMB costumes? HOW ABOUT A WASHED OUT VERSION WITH EVEN WORSE HEM CUTS?!

Dang this mv is hands-down amazingwhat a great sousenkyou single!

 

Watching this PV makes me all nostalgic and tingly inside.
This is probably the weakest senbatsu I've ever seen and this pv feels like the end of something tbh.


Anyway, the PV is really beautiful and reminds me the old ones also the song is better than I thought at first
I like the covers too!

 

Covers are nice~ Yuka looks stunning in the regular edition covers

And the MV is a different KNBMB/2010/11-era AKB and it's wonderful. Very idol-like. It's weird how Mayu was sort of the main character then in the dance scenes Sasshi is clearly the center lol. It's not like this is Mayu's last single so meh unnecessary little plot that doesn't really do anything with the song itself, but still, it's pretty lol. I love the song already tbh.

 

One word: NICE!

 

AKB and their allegorical storytelling have always been top notch. This MV works really well because Yukirin is not there. It's as if Mayu is stuck with Sasshi and she has no choice in being her friend lol
