All of 16th gen appeared in AKBingo at the same time. At some point, Taguchi Manaka had more appearances than the others but none are close to being a regular on the show yet.

Interesting. So only a half of the members (163/323) have > 6 allocated slots (called "selling" members).
Despite having a smaller member pool, NGT is not far behind the other sister groups in the number of selling members (20 vs. 25, 21, 29). AKB is the most mature group with 20 allocated slots per selling member, while SKE, NMB, HKT, and NGT are on par.

Yes, I want to try this rule on all cases.

I have quickly computed the percentages of sold out slots from selling members, using the latest HS sale:
    - AKB: 386/1019 (37.88%)
    - SKE: 146/415 (35.18%)
    - NMB: 144/372 (38.71%)
    - HKT: 142/520 (27.31%)
    - NGT: 161/362 (44.48%)
    - STU: 25/162 (15.43%)
HKT has more selling members, but they are not selling well on average. NGT is leading with 44.48%, it mean each selling member in NGT can sell almost a half of her allocated slots on average.

The other numbers I asked are for contribution of popular HS sellers in each group. I want to use the members with max allocated slots only (29-30 slots in all events: HS, special stages...). It means I do not want to count the members w/ 24 allocated slots + no special stage.

42.48% for NGT! Though, it is weird that no NGT has sold out all slots yet. Also, what is going on w/ Rika's fans?
Btw, we need to wait for resale rounds. The case of Tano Ayaka (0/12 to 10/12) very likely has a lot of empty orders.

P/S: Is it the first time this year Mion & Rika cannot sell out all slots before resale rounds?

NGT is still relatively new, the other sister groups are not. HKT had this golden phase of many high sellers during 2014/2016 but the newness has worn off and NGT has it now. Eventually the newness will wear off for NGT and STU will surge as people get more interested in them, idols are a cyclical business, it's just the way it is.

@Renappon You made a mistake in the first line of the post, it should be 7th Round, not 6th Round. right?
You also wrote "Taguchi Megu" in AKB48 Team A, but her name is "Taniguchi Megu". ^^

    Random notes:

    • Yuiyui gets stronger every single, she's top 3 HS in 48G now O_O she is not in my Team 8 favs, but good for her, more power to Team 8!
    • Naruchan and Rinrin in top 3 Team 8 HS again, happy for my favs <3 Yamada, Kurenyan and my other Team 8 favs are doing fine too ^^/
    • Satopii 2nd best seller in Team K already, yes! and Renacchi 2nd best seller in Team B! I know they don't sell a lot but this is still great <3
    • Surprised Miion didn't sell all after 7 rounds. She used to be sold out around the same time as Naachan... Naachan sold out at 4th round.

We need to wait for resales to see final results, but so far it seems like YuiYui is a solid candidate to stand in Mayu's position as AKB's ace.

If you'd ever heard her live rendition of Manazashi Sayonara then you wouldn't say that (I presume your talking about Furuhata Nao)

The one with Ishida Anna in 2015? Then yeah, I have. Was it really that bad? I liked it though. IMO, Nao has a beautiful voice and definitely better vocal techniques than Mirurun.

You are not the only one :))

To be fair if she was singing with Anna then it was not bad to be a little off. Anna was one of the better singers in SKE after all. Imo Nao's voice is a little weak and works well only with certain songs. But she does sounds pleasant when it works, and at least she is more in-tune / on-key than Mirurun.

p/s: Manazashi Sayonara is one tricky ballad tho, especially at the bridge. So far only Airin really nailed it, considering the song is made for her, and to some extent Churi and Miepii.
