I expected management to hype this 50th single more. At least Mayuyu got to graduate on a milestone single and center it.

These 7 are the least AKB48 could include from NGT48 when HKT48 have 5 members in senbatsu alone. She has better rank and HS sale and more recognition than some of the senbatsu members, including she-who-shall-not-be-named.
It would be legendary if this single has a U20 b-side with Katomina, Ryoha, Mio, Komi, Sayaya, Megu, etc.

There's no need to. Team 8 is in AKB so I don't think he missed out on adding them.

 

Cool. We'll see in 2019 if she is considered the face of AKB. The "ace" of the entire group. Because that's what she was being pushed as. Not just as a regular senbatsu member. She'll probably get one or two more chances to be the face of AKB, maybe even an entire year of chances. Let's see if she does anything with it.

Because so far what has happened? She seems to be losing a lot of fans. Even she has mentioned that she's stalled in the past year.

Many people, including me, had hoped a minimum of top-10 rank this year. And yet she couldn't even enter senbatsu, even though 7 people dropped out of it! 7 fucking people from last year's senbatsu didn't even join the ssk, and she couldn't even keep her spot.

So we'll see next SSK. We'll see with the centers and the positions of the next 4-5 singles. And then the result will be known about 1.5 years from now.

Fwiw, I hope she is the next ace. Her or Yuiyui. Besides this single, there should be no center of an AKB song next year that is not Miion or Yuiyui. AKB needs an ace because all the top members are gone. So either they put her as center and she responds well and gains fans, or they put someone else there. Either way there will be a new ace by 2019, and if its not her she failed in her push.

-Only Takino Yumiko from STU side. May others catches up for next round
-Quite late for Nakai Rika. Never know her fandom went slow burner. Next round it seems.
-lel, Matsuoka Hana sells one. Equal with Kato Rena. And doing better than, say, Kodama Haruka....
-Where the f is Minegishi Minami. She just have to sell 12 slot and even Yamamoto Ayaka can do 2/12 now. Heck, even some promising KKS overtake her.

3 slots sold for Rie. She didn't sell any on previous singles. Yeah, she doesn't need to sell handshake, she's still popular.

 

...who has missed slots (or entire events) at pretty much every hs in the last 6 months through injury/illness, it'll take a while to build sales back up again because people don't like to risk on someone that might cancel.

Plus, we won't know the real sales till the resale rounds anyway.

 

ABSOLUTELY NO HANA CENTER IN AN AKB SINGLE. PLEASE.
