Yeah she would love to see some foreign members rank where she couldn't some years ago.

 

So, they included international sister groups but they won't include Nogi and Keya? Come on, Aki - P. You know Sakamichi AKB sousenkyo would be the bomb!

 

Seems like what will happen is foreign fans will vote for their own girls, taking votes away from Japan48 members, but probably not enough to actually get the foreign girls to rank in. Might have an effect on Japan48 girls who are popular overseas though by reducing their votes.

 

I think JKT48 will manage to get one or two girls ranked in the lower tiers (Future/Upcoming girls?)

 

It may destroy their Oricon number though. Everyone buys JKT CDs and ignore the AKB ones

This situation is weird. What will they do?
- Attach voting tickets in the cheap JKT CDs. The Oricon number for AKB single will be destroyed.
- Attach voting tickets in JKT CDs and sell those CDs with the same price as AKB ones. JKT will have the most expensive single ever.
- Ask JKT to print (or import) and sell the AKB single (w/ voting tickets) in Indonesia, with same (or higher) price as Japanese version. JKT loses 1 single & a lot of money.

 

Will they care? We know tsubasa sold 2.3 on its first day soundscan and only 1.33 on oricon. The difference is huge. No matter how they do it, AKI - P will still get richer by including sister groups for this SSK. It'll hurt one group or or the other but in the end the guy behind these groups will get more.

 

I wonder if they'll make voting/getting the codes easier for international fans now.

 

Well, they opened the mobame up to the international fandom, right?
That's a vote right there.

I think they'll stick to the usual way of voting: single + fan clubs.
There is no way they are going to attach the ballot to a cheaper single.
If you are a BNK fan and want to buy for your BNK girl, buy the AKB single like the rest of the fans.

Damn, that's disappointing. I was under the impression that mobame = a vote, had no idea it wouldn't apply for foreign fans.

 

Can't JKT, BNK, and TPE use the result from this Sousenkyo to get a top 16. This is what SNH48 and its sister groups do.

 

Im happy to hear SG overseas are getting much attention right now since the 1st world senbatsu aired on january. Guess they have good feedback on that time so they continue featuring them.

 

What about 2014 sousenkyo? Wasn't it worldwide too?
And how about 2013 when graduated members allowed to enter? (And a member with a scandal mamaged to rank in) lul.

 

But they do? The shipping for Japanese fans would be a lot more expensive.

Why would this even happen? AKB's release has nothing to do with them.
