Single AKB48 54th [NO WAY MAN] (2018/11/28)

One thing I like from NWM performance is the formation that the center is not necessarily at the very front. I think there are 4-5 changes when the center of second and third line (Yukirin and Okabe) in #0 position, or there are two members in front of the center. Looks kind of neat.
And now we can see the effect of having someone else filling in center position for the first performance. She will be compared a lot with the unders. In this case Jurina is luckier, no one ever performed #0 before her.

I think both are at #1 position on both side of #0. There are two possibilities why it turns out like that. Either Hii is taller and oranger than Nako, or the camerawork focus more when she is in front.

So far I've liked every performance of this song lol. It was really great to finally see Sakura center and Hitomi+Nako beside her. But I gotta agree with some on here, Yukirin has been killing it. Her and Sasshi are some of the oldest members in AKB (not only in age, but seniority too) and yet they really give it their best each performance.

 

What happened to the STU girls who did the first live performance? I wanted to see more of them.

the girls have consistently stated they were chosen for that one performance only. The same fact was (to an almost surprising degree) repeatedly expressed during the show and elsewhere. At any rate, I guess it might have been different were they actual AKB members. AKB has lately been doing a decent job of pushing their own girls to the front.

Both of the STU girls are also in a special STU performance unit which already has several performances scheduled for the next weeks. I'm pretty sure we're gonna see their own NWM at some point.

 

I've noticed that too, not only in this FNS, but also in previous performances (and in the MV too).
In FNS at 0:06 and 0:13 Yukirin seems to be running back and forth from her position in the second line to the front-right side.
And I think that movement is really weird and unnecessary, moreover, she's the only one running around there. What's wrong with the choreography?
And to make our old lady running around like that is just so....unconsiderate.
I mean, they have a lot of other younger members to do that LOL

Anyway, loving this Sakura center performance.

Forgot to say, RH voting codes only included in Limited Edition plus the fan account. So with NGT HS sell out to be that low but the single still sell 1.2 Mil, they may go for that one instead.

Anyone know who has centered in theater? A, K and 4 have performed it now. Bonus points for video...

 

AKB KKS have performed it twice in the theater so far. Both times it was Kobayashi Ran who center'd.

However, Yahagi was out for those two shows and Ranchan was in her position. So I would assume Yahagi will center it next time she is in the Pajadora stage.

Also, Team B is the only AKB48 team that has yet to perform No Way Man. I have only seen the KKS performance of it, and don't have the days the teams performed it. So can't say who center for them.

Stage positions never mattered for single performances at the theatre. Which doesn't mean that it won't be her.

But there is the case of Yahagi being at the start of a big push. Which I forgot to mention as a line of reasoning in my earlier post.
