Single AKB48 55th [Jiwaru DAYS] [2019/03/13)

The covers are amazing, yet so simple.
Nothing special for now about the song, It's what I expected from a song centered by Sasshi.
Also kudos to Shinobu for creating these 3450 outfits during Sasshi's time in AKB.

 

Guess all the budget is going to SakamichiAKB lol

The MV was simple, but really nice. It kind of felt more like her grad song than the A-side almost tbh. The song is good too. Definitely more old-school AKB. Kind of reminds me of #sukinanda; typical idol song, but it's not a bad song.

 

I still can't help wonder how in the world Sasshi is going to sing that opening part live....

 

I was about to complaint that how come Sasshi didn't wear any hat in this MV. But then there's that 2 sec of Dasu putting it on her and suddenly I'm fine with the video.

 

It was such a pretty song. Although, it did feel like I heard it before, and no, not thanks to ANN. But, like an older gen song.

 

Budget, budget, budget. BwT's MV had a huge budget and see what happened.

Good PV concept, already forgot the song, too much Hana not enough Yukirin!
And if they wanted to give a new gen the spot of HKT representative it should have been Mikurin anyway. Giving it to an upcoming girls member when Sashi has won 3 consecutive times and 4 overall is just embarrassing.

 

Amazing? They're on a fashion event when suddenly they're attacked by a group of terrorists or whatever. Afterwards they're all Mad Max characters, when Paruru starts "dreaming". They're now post-apocalypse fighters and they get their asses kicked by those terrorists. They all dance, until everything turns into a gym lesson. And then Paruru is a fucking bird. They counter-attack with Paruru punching a guy to the death while she's crying. Movie ends. Where the fuck is half of the senbatsu?!

 

Sadly the song didn't win me over. It sounds nice, I like the energy and the trumpet sounds. But there isn't a hook for me that makes me go listen to it for the foreseeable future. It's not catchy for me. The MV is ok but nothing that interesting.

For me the song is like the outfits the girls wear. Bland. I already forgot about it.

I expected more from it because Sasshi is the center. But in the end it is a letdown in that sense. I wanted to like it after last year's A-side songs I just didn't like. I guess you could say this one makes it 4 and a half.

As soon as I saw the backdrop I was hoping we'd see Sasshi or maybe even them all wear her old costumes, bit disappointed. I liked the song though it doesn't give me that 'i want to play this again and again' feel.
Looking forward to her grad song, I'm sure that will have all the emotional footage from her time with 48g.
