    Serika sounds a lot more stable during that intro than Sasshi (or Yuiyui), if I'm honest :^^;: Well done to her

    Not Oricon digital chart but the combined chart. The points from individual song sales is 5000, the points from the whole single sales (basically you're buying either type A, B, etc) is 112 and playback is 354. To translate the point into sales:
    1 point = 2.5 individual song sales -> 5000x2.5 = 12500 individual songs downloaded.
    1 point = 1 whole album/single -> 112 whole single
    1 point = 300 playbacks -> 354x300 = 106200 playbacks/streaming.
    So... not a lot.
    The combined physical and digital point is 1,269,000 (1,263,000 came from physical sales)
    *Oricon does have a digital chart now, but Jiwaru DAYS didn't make the cut even in the weekly ranking.
    *I'm not sure why Jiwaru DAYS is not ranked in the digital song ranking, but I assume it is because the ranking only count the exact song, so those 12500 song probably is not all Jiwaru DAYS. The lowest sales/download on the current digital weekly chart (for a single song) is 5527 (rank 20th) which probably means Jiwaru DAYS (the song) didn't sold that many digitally.
    *Jiwaru DAYS start being sold digitally since March 6th but unfortunately I didn't paid attention to the ranking. Right now I can only see the daily ranking from March 12 ~ 19. Between those dates, Jiwaru DAYS managed to rank only in March 13 (8th). For March 19, rank 1st sold around 5k and rank 3rd almost 3k.
    *for comparison, in K46 8th single 3rd week, they managed to have 5923pt (after subtracting the physical number) and AKB has 5766pt. So K46 perform slightly better digitally in its 3rd week vs AKB in its 1st week. Other artist (non idol) performed much better tho.
    *In case someone want to know the formula, you can read it here http://stage48.net/forum/index.php?threads/general-the-akb48-thread.180/page-1194#post-1553139

    The A-side is naturally not as dorminant in this single compared to other singles since this single B-side contains Sasshi graduation song, IZ4648 and SakamichiAKB.

    I listened to this single in full, and I think it's a very nice single! I actually enjoyed it more than their 2018 singles and I'm glad. their songs are back to being more "Jpop" sound compared to some of the songs they did last year (especially No Way Man) that I didn't like, because it was too different than what AKB is about, they didn't seem comfortable to me. So I'm satisfied with this single! it's very nice and the Pv's were all good too!

    I just wish that every song had a Pv, it's too bad that 2 of them don't have one. and I also wish there was a slower song in the b-sides, a ballad or something, that would have been nice. My opinions overall: for Jiwaru Days and Watashi Datte Idol! (Sasshi's grad song), it's not the type of songs that I would listen by itself, but they're fun and enjoyable especially for performances! For Generation Change, I quite like it, it sounds a bit more cool/dark than the other songs on this single, it's pretty good. and lastly Hatsukoi Door (SakamichiAKB), Hitsuzensei (IZ4648) and Okujo Kara Sakebu (Sucheese) are my favorite songs for this single! all 3 of them are "idol" sound and also refreshing, they're really nice to listen to <3

    Even though we heard Hitsuzensei before, but I only really paid attention now and the song is very nice. I also really wish the Sucheese subunit had a Pv... I guess I can understand why they might not have time to make a Pv with IZ4648, but for this subunit, it could have been possible... The song is so nice and I could totally imagine a Pv outdoor with white/blue, something like STU Pv's but with more cuteness. it would have been a good opportunity to promote these members too. I feel like this song was a bit wasted. oh well ^-^; at least I can enjoy listening to it and I hope they'll perform it.

    It still irks me that the Heisei farewell song had Korean girls in it.

    Like... wyd?

    Ohwell, I guess from AkiP’s POV it’s about coming together and forgetting the past and blablabla

    AKB48's 55th Single (Jiwaru DAYS) (1st Week Sales)
    Week 1:
    1,262,820 (1st)

    Oricon composite: 1,268,586 (1,262,820 pt CDs (x1) + 5,300 pt digital one-song (x2.5, ~13,250 downloads) + 112 pt digital full single (x1) + 354 pt streaming (x300, ~106,200 plays)

    AKB48 is very heavy on physical sales, compared to Keyakizaka46:

    Keyakizaka46's "Kuroi Hitsuji" sold 750,382 copies physically, and had a composite score of 771,135 points for the first week, but 6,277 points (0.81%) were just on streaming itself ("Jiwaru DAYS" streaming, for comparison, was only 0.0279% of the composite score). Given the x300 multiplier, that's nearly 1.9 million plays in the first week alone.

    P.S. What's been going on with @ForrestFuller recently? We haven't been seeing him/her updating as much over the past week or so.

    That was painful to watch :( It's heartwarming and at the same time heartbreaking to see how much the members love and respect Sasshi

    It's Nao who's centering this, right? (cmiiw)
    Her voice is so soft during Sasshi's solo lines
