Like the title says, this thread is not meant for discussions. Only post the specific news and possibly link to another thread.

Stuff that goes in this thread:

This thread is meant to facilitate keeping up with all the stuff that is happening across the 48 Idol Emporium. Some sub-units and solo singles have their own threads, so you might want to link those rather than the member/group thread. The British documentary "Jamie: Drag Queen at 16" from 2011 was turned into a musical in 2017 and is premiering in Japan this summer. (The English version is also being made into a movie).

Tano Yuka is one of the performers in the upcoming performances, which will be held in Tokyo, Osaka and Aichi.

Watanabe Miyuki and her girl group "Ange et Folletta" have finally released their first mini-album. It is called "Ange et Folletta ~Danse~" and the main song is called "Victorian Dress"

SKE48 member (and winner of the first AKB48G Singing Contest) Nojima Kano has just announced her graduation, she'll leave at the end of June and join a new 4-member female vocal group managed by Zest called '&' (I think it's pronounced as 'and' rather than as 'ampersand'):

Former Team 8 member Sato Shiori has debuted with her new girl group Setsunateki Anastasia. She is the producer of this group and also a member thereof, making her the 4th former 48g member to produce her own girl group (others are Sashihara Rino, Aigasa Moe and Watanabe Miyuki).

The debut album, "departure" was released on September 10th, 2021, and contains 5 songs.

For the record, Shiori is also the producer of a second group called Kasumi Kusa to Stella. They were announced on May 7th (a month after Sentsunateki Anastasia), but haven't released any official music yet. However, they do have some original songs.

Shiroma Miru will release her solo debut single on July 6th, 2022. The title is "Shine Bright" and it's released under Warner Music Japan. It will include 2 B-sides: "Bye, Honey" and "Take off".

Yahagi Moeka is releasing her first EP on October 25th:

The special edition contains a key to a live stream (can be viewed for 3 years) and a photobook. The live stream includes 2 music videos, making/documentary videos and a performance video from Moeka's first live performance "Rebirth."

 

On September 19th, former NMB48 Watanabe Miyuki will release her overall 5th photo book (counting 2 style books). The photo book will be shot in Cairns, Australia, and be released on her 30th birthday.

 

No Sleeves (consisting of former AKB48 members Takahashi Minami, Kojima Haruna & Minegishi Minami) held their 15th Anniversary Concert at Zepp Haneda in Tokyo on November 25th, 2023.

Former Team 8 member Sakaguchi Nagisa is part of a new idol group called LarmeR (ラルメール), pronounced la me-ru for those who can't read Katakana.

The group will have their official debut on January 23rd, 2024, at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE, a venue in Shibuya, Tokyo. Leading up to their debut, they have also posted a teaser for their first original song "Kono Shizuku wa, Umi wo Koeru." (この雫は、海を越える。) (These Drops Will Cross the Ocean).

The group consists of five members and Nagisa's member colour is Aqua Blue.
