They're being so extra with this and I love it.

I hope they revive the Unit Matsuri and use these units.

 

Rooting for Kokeshi Sisters because I loved all of them before they were an official unit.

Matsuoka Hana looks like she'll mess some people up in all the photos, especially the last one

 

So I guess no one will be rooting for any of the soloists (to win) since it would be extremely boring if a soloist won.

 

^other than people who oshi them probably not.

I'd love it if Riko won, and several others have said the same thing.

But she's not my first choice.

 

Agree with @wlerin. In addition to liking her, she is frequently called by her fellow members their "vocal queen" or "vocal fairy", her voice is really good/the best in NGT48 and I would love to see her actually sing solo.
I don't even think I have a group I'll be rooting for, since there are so many units I think will be interesting and fun.
I would have gone with Nako's unit if the NMB representative was anybody but Miru, honestly.

 

Same. I think Riko is a super underrated member of NGT. She's really cute and does good performances, and I would definitely be interested in her solo single.

But at the same time, I'm do kind of agree with @GATX105 just because I think solos should be exceptionally good when they happen. They have the most potential to be really boring... Like, if ranked in three categories--songwriting, singing, and performance--on a 100 point scale each, a solo would need to reach at least 200 points to be good to me.

tbh I didn't even notice she got in a unit and not to mention her unit made past pre-lims loool

 

Will Dancing Cats still participate with Manami and Yuami only or are they forced to drop out?

 

Tano has said that she won't be at Janken right after they announced their unit (on twitter). I'm sure Dancing Cats will still participate, she has voiced her good luck for Yuami and Manami multiple times.

I suppose this is just announcement now for those who don't follow her on social media.

Originally, she said she won't be at the event itself (when they'll compete), not that she's not taking part in the Janken Taikai as a whole.

 

So she just won't be at the event?
If Dancing Cats win, will she be there?

Cause if not, what happens now with the slots?
They took the slot of a 3nin unit when they're now a duo...

 

The way I understood the post was "Tano Yuka will not participate on Sept. 24 (Sunday) because the schedule of the stage performance and the Janken overlap." Since she has said from Day 1 that she will not be able to be at Janken because of stage rehearsals, Dancing Cats is still a 3nin unit and if Dancing Cats ends up winning, she is a part of them. By the way, the stage rehearsals are probably for THE CIRCUS, a new play she's part of. Her new movie Linking Love, where she is the main character, is also coming out 28th September~

By the way, since someone said they didn't know Dancing Cats made it through prelims: Manami won the prelims for Dancing Cats and Tano was drawn from the lottery as well (she said "I am glad I could at least contribute a little bit").

They will still participate as a 3nin group, Tano is still part of Dancing Cats, she will just not be present during the Janken tournament.
