^ I wonder since that happened, maybe since last year when she was chosen AKB SHOWROOMER of the year?

Did they get a song which will be a coupling song of 49th single? Similar to there was Gugutasu no Sora.

Then, Ogiyuka would be both senbatsu of this and senbatsu of sousenkyo.

No they did not. Though they might or not get a song. But I have a feeling nothing will be rewarded.

So, they are making the coupling song for the Type D version of the sousenkyo song. Nothing bad for a free (as in gratis) event where they only had to broadcast every day~

This probably marks the peak of their collaboration, I really doubt they will reward them with a song next year (pretty much like what they did with G+). I entered Yumirin's room to collect stars just as she was saying "but there are 3 STU48 members there", so I guess someone told her about the results or she was talking about them.

By the way, for those who think Kahotaru and Rikachan look similar (found by a friend)...

Pretty happy for the girls actually. Especially for Macharin and Momoka.

At first it was really a competition for nothing other than pride and title. And people are saying it was meaningless and mocking it was a competition for the "members who have the most free time" and stuff.

But you never know what will come out of things until the end and rewards often appears in the most unexpected places. So always put effort and work hard at what you are good at.

That's how chances are made and given to those who are worthy. Congrats!

True, Aki-P also said for Gugutasu no Sora and for Sakippe's solo debut that girls like her didn't wait but instead created their own chances (ironically, Harukyan just disappeared after that, contrary to BBQ who continued to build her own opportunities and fanbase til ranking in senbatsu). But there's no doubt that girls with the most free time had the advantage here, otherwise how so many kenkyuusei and Team 8 members could have ranked in?

Obviously, you can do with your free time whatever you want, some people study, some others visit places, read books, watch movies or series or play videogames. Those are all valid ways of spending your free time (even though I think some hobbies are "better" than others, shown in the way I sorted them). For idols, some could just relax at home, go out with friends, watch TV, or share time with fans. Sharing time with fans is probably the worst thing they could objectively do (you already do that for your daily job, it only increases stress, just as a teacher giving private classes during their spare time), but fans appreciate that sacrifice, just like occidental fans appreciate when they find some actor they like in a restaurant and they accept taking a selfie or signing something even though they could reject that.

In a way, to rank in the SR election you need not only dedicated fans but also dedicated members in a real-time cooperation.

for everyone who had to pass through SR audition (16th, 8th, STU) streaming frequently seems to be almost a natural thing. Generally like 90 % of regular streamers are D2/NGT and later (and Team 8 which is a special case due to the concept itself). So apart from free time it's imo also important what SR actually represents for the girls - for the newgens it's a standard SNS to use regularly (they don't have Twitter, Insta or even blog) while for the "older" members it's a thing to do occasionally when they remember or have sth to share. Interesting for example to see SKE 7th do almost no SR at all. It's of course tough for the schoolkids having restricted time - so the morning streams are where you see this difference the most.

Not sure how to feel about the "you have to do SR" pressure though. It may be a question of pride for some but also it just doesn't fit some of them and they do it kinda forcibly and it's the worst when you can see that - same with clinging too much to mainichi idol. And on the other hand it's always enjoyable for me to watch someone like Macharin who just takes it as a good Japanese practice and is actually quite a natural entertainer.

    where does watching SR rank?

Is there a way to check "online" of the room instead of "hits counter" ?
