All inappropriate words get replaced with a star symbol, and I have to say that the system is overly efficient at detecting and censoring them.

 

Yeah, but sometimes you can't censor bad intentions with the words though.

I remember last time there was a dude in Taguchi Manaka's room kept pestering her why she didn't show up as the scheduled time for her SR and he kept on spamming that which at the end made the poor girl cried.

Or the other time which the current D3 candidate who was auditioning STU 1st gen aka. Tofu chan was also being harrassed by a dude who kept accusing she was picking to read comments by favoritism based on the SR gifts viewers toss at her. Which at the end also made the poor girl cried.

Since the SR of these girls doesn't have much people in it to leave a comment that they are focred to read it out loud to themselves. Talk about torture.

For another good and common example for popular SRs is whenever Rikachan shows up in SR events and even in her own SR, people will spam Urusai "Annoying/shut up" to tease her to a point that it sometimes breaks her emotionally, even when sometimes she hasn't even said a word or laughing hysterically to herself.

Channels are still being deleted. It doesn't accomplish anything though, you can still find other sources easily. I've already moved on to other sites to watch them. (ask google, not me)
It doesn't look like official takedown requests to me, because there doesn't seem to be any filters preventing people from uploading. Lots of new channels pop up and die at inconsistent times. Looks more like the work of some rogue asshat(s) mass reporting videos every once in a while on easy to find channels.

 

What about this tho? I was just watching the Renacchi auditions from this guy who amazingly compiled it in his playlists but he got banned two days ago.

He posted the pic of his take downs was requested by Showroom. That then sparked my interest into looking up if Showroom has a channel on YT and apparently they did...back in 2013 lol

Don't forget that Youtube has some kind of auto detect and deleting algorythms.

I know that some TV channels put some invisible (for human eyes) watermarks in their videos to ease the YT detecting and deleting work.

 

Well that's interesting but I don't know if it means SR is the one targeting everyone or if that's just their response to reports that YT passes on to them? Anyway, I was just giving my observations, I don't have the answers. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

What I do know is if SR is behind it all, they are really bad at it lol. Some people have been uploading for months with "showroom" right in their titles, while others don't and get deleted in a week.

edit- @lionel90 just missed your post. Yeah, that's why I said it looked more like asshattery. Lots of channels doing things that should be detected easily stay up longer than they should if it was SR going after everyone with those methods.
