Is there an alphabetical way to write this address? I don't think the post office here would know what to do with that. XD

Actually, you can write the address in Japanese just as long as you put "JAPAN" in capital letters, underlined, at the end. It will still get delivered that way.

But here's the English translation of the address:

    AKB48 Fanletters
    P.O. Box 1471
    Chuuou Post Office
    Tokyo
    100-8693

    And the romaji:
    〒100-8693
    Tokyo Chuuou Yuubinkyoku
    Shishobako 1471
    "AKB48 Fanletter kakari"

And if you use either of these, of course, put JAPAN at the end in capital letters as well.

Very great to know, thanks a lot! Now I gotta find someone who wants to make a few bucks to translate my yet to be written letters into Japanese. XD I only know a tiny bit of the spoken language. I have pretty much no written skills. haha, Still, I think this'd be a fun thing to do.

Of course. I think you have to write down one's name on somewhere.

Yeas, I'm pretty sure they do.

I do NOT recommend using this kinda web-translator.
Often time, it makes weird mistakes.
If you post your writings here or PM me, I'will help you as much as I can.

Good'ol web translators. At the school I work at, kids often times try to use them to cheat in Spanish class. They have a hard time understanding why they fail the assignments when they rely on them a little too much. :)

I appreciate the offer, but I really don't wanna consume anyone's time with my little fanboy rambling. ;) I'd honestly like to send several, but maybe I could live with just one. :) I'll have to ponder that one.

You mean Sony official online shop?
If so, you cannot buy those (sakura & skrt) singles there.
Also, I think AKB48 itself don't have official online store.

Unless you have 100 pages of letters, it will not take much time to translate.
Anyway, whether you translate by yourself or not, any questions or proofreading are welcome :D
Since there are lots of differences not only between spoken Japanese and written Japanese but also between male language and female language, you will face lots of difficulties while translating.

and the next event she told us she read our letters. That's a reply nee!! LOL

    Yes, you can.
But you can't send living things (such as animals), foods, gift coupons, money, cosmetics, perfumes, and heavy or big things that members cannot bring to their home.

Yeah, you were really lucky. :D

I don't know where you can get them.
Because they are not producing those two CDs anymore, it will be difficult to find them online.
