honestly you shouldn't expect to find anyone (fans) in handshake because it is so crowded everywhere unless you know which lane they are going to at what slot and camp at that line...

 

^ Those guys part of a well known sub group. You could probably send them a message and ask to meet them the next time they attend.

 

I don't know about Wayne, but Chris definitely has an account here, as I've seen him post in Amina's thread when she talked about him on her radio show after the show aired. I've also heard that they (or just Wayne) made a reappearance on the show, because he bumped into them again, but I've never seen it and have no idea if it was actually broadcast.

 

I have seen some of them a couple of times at event, but I don't think they attend frequently. Also it's hard to miss Caucasians at these events, although there are a lot of foreigners but mostly with an Asian face.

Please forgive me if this is a dumb question, but does anyone ever try to give the girls money during these hand shake events? Is that considered a terrible thing to do? Are the girls allowed to keep whatever someone gives them?

 

You can't give the girl any gifts during handshake events. The only thing you can do is shake their hand (no other forms of touching allowed, not even high fives).

Other things not allowed are hats, watches, and pointy earrings.

Gifts would have to be sent to the management or their agencies. You'll be kicked out if you try to give them gifts upfront. Even then, gifts would be returned/destroyed if they are of high value, as there are people who open/inspect gifts before delivering them to the girls.

I don't understand though, what reason would someone give a member money? The are getting paid to be idols, it isn't free. Not to mention that giving money to people for no reason in Japan is considered very rude. That's why Japanese people refuse to accept tips and will not keep change that you may leave behind.
