^ probably because Sasshi wasn't original team B member, she was promoted to team B from kenkyusei in two years after it's formation.

Does anyone know if some AKB songs simply get retired? For instance, Kasai Tomomi's graduation song was the catchy little number called Enjoy Your Life. I have never heard that song ever since she left the group. I heard Yukirin sing a few moments of Maeda's graduation song in a Showroom last year but I've never heard it done on stage since Maeda graduated. Same goes for Shinado Mariko's graduation song and others. Are those songs still on AKB's playlist? Thanks in advance for any and all replies.

Well AFAIK Yume no Kawa (acchan's grad song) was used for a few other member's graduations, such as Nagao Mariya and Nakagawa Haruka.
Not sure about the others, but if someone wants to pick them I'm pretty sure it's allowed. If they still remember those songs anyway lol.

Thank you. I didn't know anyone else ever used Yume no Kawa, but does a ''graduation song'' for one girl can only ever used as a ''graduation song'' for another girl? Can it ever be part of the normal playlist in a concert? Or would fans consider that weird?

Only so many girls get their own graduation song, so I don't think it's uncommon to "reuse" a song with other member. Especially Acchan's grad song since it has a lot of symbolism. In Harugon's case, Yume no Kawa was released in Indonesian and it became her graduation song (remember that she was called "the legend of JKT48").
That being said, I don't think grad songs are included in normal setlists except for Request Hour or graduation lives. Correct me if I'm wrong, I did a quick search only.
This is more of a piece of trivia but Yume no Kawa in particular is frequently sang in auditions.

Graduation songs are typically not used for anyone besides who it's made for, with the exception of Yume no Kawa. I don't think I've heard Mari, Keicchi, Tomochin, Sayaka, Yuko, Ricchan, Takamina, Paru, and etc's grad songs outside of request hour. I guess it's due to the fact that the song is made for the graduating member so it would be weird to sing it in a concert as a regular song. However, I did remember seeing SNH sing Yume no Kawa as a regular(?) songUnfortunately, I'm guessing that those songs not being performed often does go forgotten.

It's a shame that they get forgotten, isn't it? Italo Tomomi's grad song, Saigo no Door, is one of my favorite AKB songs, as well. So poignant and beautiful. Really great video too. Virtually all the graduation songs are among the best AKB has ever done.

Why do the graduates take down their portraits in the theater? Will we be able to see those portraits again?

The theater portraits are of the members. When you graduate, you are no longer a member.

P.S. and taking down the portraits means they don't have to build new hallways. :)

Most probably because they are no longer members of the group and also don't have a contract. The portraits in the theater are to show the current teams'members so having a portrait of a graduated member there wouldn't make much sense.
And I don't know if there may be legal reasons involved.
