I completely agree. One of the most grievous missteps AKB ever made was not performing this song live at least once with the original members :(

Please help me find this song!

I tried to play the beginning of the vocal line, followed after a pause by another section of the song (I think it's the one before the chorus).
While I'm quite sure about the first section I'm not sure that the second section matches perfectly the real song.

I remember this being singed by Takahashi Minami but I don't remember any mention of AKB48 in the video. But this is old (5 years ago maybe? Maybe even more) so it's years before she graduated from the group.
From what I remember from the video it looked like a solo concert, but I know the AKB girls sings solo even in AKB concerts so I'm not 100% sure if it was a Takahashi Minami concert.
The song is definitely not an AKB48 one. Maybe it's a cover? Don't know.
In the video she was dressed in dark with a black veil on her face, like the ones wear by widows during the husband funeral (or at least in movies they often wear it).
It's not Jane Doe even if the dress is someway similar I suppose.
I think that while in Jane Doe dress she wear a hat, in this live song she wear a black or very dark blue ribbon.
In Jane Doe she dresses leather and a short skirt while in this live she had a longer and more elegant dress, again black or dark blue, I guess the tissue was velvet.
The song starts with a piano.
Unfortunately I remember only a couple of words which are so common they won't be of much help, but anyway this is what I remember.

When you listen to the fist section of the mp3, depict this in your mind (each sillabe is a note):

na na na na BA-NA-RE \ na na na na SA-RE-TE

This is all. I remember the word "WAKARU" being very prominent in the chorus.

This song was in YouTube at the time.

This is my try to play the melody:

The song you're looking for is called "Kiseki wa yoru umareru" and can be found on no3b's self-titled album :) It is indeed a Takamina solo, and she sang it at one of the Ogi-Matsuri concerts her agency held.
Good effort in recreating the melody too!

When I play the DVD:s from Revival Concert I began to wonder about SDN48 and their music. They were disbanded for more than 6 years ago but have their music been performed after that? I haven't heard of that, is that true? If so, it's a pity because there is a bunch of good music.

Their original stage is revived once in a while by different groups. Other than that, I'm not aware.

Their songs have been performed numerous times actually. Especially when they want to go for some sexier concept. I think several songs on Eito no Hi Night PIT are SDN's songs.

    Thanks, I must have missed.

Edid: After searching the Wiki I can see HKT48 have made a revival version, but it's hard to search info in that way.

How do I access the mobile blogs? Is there any way to do it as someone outside of Japan?

You mean the one on the website?
Open it from your phone. There is a tutorial on how to open it from a PC not long ago. I just forgot on which thread.

Is there any alternative for Cookai16 youtube channel where I can watch some old stage? I remember there was a website called C48 or something where I used to watch random AKB48 videos, but can't find it now.

I have a question about the annual senbatsu... how will the senbatsu be determined for upcoming singles after sentimental train? Will it be the same line up as voted for this years senbatsu election until the next election is scheduled?

All you need to know is that the SSK only determines the lineup for one single a year. For all other singles, it's management chosen. For example, Souda Sarina might've been 8th and 11th last and this year respectively but she's never been chosen for non-SSK singles.

    Yes. Although it's AKB's single, it's really JPN48's single.

Hi, I'm looking for any insight into the 48G songwriting process. All I know is that Aki P writes all of the lyrics, and other people are hired to write the music. Are there any interviews or moments in the (many) 48G documentaries that expand on this in any way? I wonder how the music is chosen, if he writes the words first, how much collaboration there is between Aki P and the composers etc. I've written songs before as the composer so I'm really interested in how the process works for 48G songs!
