Funny episode too.
Just either Yuiyui forgot how to be a variety idol or she really didn't expect to be trapped. Her reaction was bland. (she had better expressions in Eito ratchi for those who remember)
Poor Hiyuka who really thought she had the job done, better luck next time maybe.

 

That might actually be the case. I was really confused why Yui looked so disgusted when it touched her mouth. Makes sense if it's shaving cream. Tbf if they just use クリーム without any identifier it's usually the edible sort of cream.

 

I think yuiyui expected it to explode out like the older cream cannon. But covering cute girls face in white seems to be canceled.

Anyway, im liking team 8 s new variety show. /sarcastic

 

Telling the truth under sarcasm. They make everything better.

This one is proving what I've always said about shows like AKBINGO!: you don't need variety idols to make a good variety show, what you need (and fans want to see) is cute girls with a well written script.

I like that we actually have both. Good variety members and cute girls doing cute things.

 

Or rather, cute members who are good at variety. (Because they aren't mutually exclusive.)

 

Would you trade any moment of these episodes for 5 minutes of trying to steal screen time from idols that we actually care about just to say her unfunny stuff and overreactions? Because lately we had too much of that in AKBINGO!.
When the episodes are well planned certain types aren't exactly needed.

 

This week is also fun to watch, no boring episode so far. Always leave me with grin afterwards.
Megu got a lot of spotlight this week! Hiyuka is funny and trying hard to leave some impression, hopefully we can see her more.
Next week we have 17th gen debut on Sayonara Mouri, one of the fastest gen to appear on variety show?
Also where is our center Maho?

 

That was it.

I'm not sure if that is a good thing. The show was having a good pace and chemistry and now we're getting a huge cut from that. Wouldn't it be better if the 17th generation were introduced like two each time? They could have their own episodes later, with more experience.

I wonder for how long will this show run. Is it going to be like AKBINGO! or seasonal like other groups' shows? Its title is for something that won't last much. Sayonara Mouri-san in 2032? Makes no sense. Who knows, maybe AKBINGO! will return or we get a completely new show.

Full costume with hip hop short always weird.
Need to stick with either one

 

Well, I guess it takes much longer to change the full costume to sportswear and back than just putting on these shorts. Though tbh I thought they would always wear safety shorts beneath their skirts regardless.

Obviously I hope for a long running show with ~50 episodes each year. Regarding the title imho they can just change it. When they switched from AKB 0ji 59fun to AKBingo! literally everything stayed the same except for the title.
