Of the 2 setlists this is the one I'd rather see... they both sound good but damn this is an interesting one. Pulling out Seventh Chord, wat!

Maybe I missed something because I didn't see her, unless she was on at the end with the entire group (I wasn't very close to the main stage, I was just above the rear stage) However on a similar note we all got to see Ronald McDonald give away free hamburgers to all the Team Centers.

BTW, is Miichan afraid of clowns? Or was it more about being afraid of what a year supply of McDonalds burgers could do to her awesome physique?

The highlight of the show, at least to me were the solo performances of the Senbatsu members. Obviously some were better than others...

And what an awesome performance. Juri channeling Sheila E. Just everything about this song, her drumming, singing, all top notch. Juri was my personal show MVP

Yukirin too, showing she is one of, if not the best singer currently in the 48 groups. She sounded flawless.

Haruppi's Majisuka Gakuen skit as part of her solo was cute a lot of fun, fighting off gangsters. I think just about everyone in the building was trying to "help" Yui make it through her performance of 365. Clapping to help herkeep the tempo, singing along with her. Honestly she's just not quite good enough to play the piano and sing at the same time, but it was quite the gallant effort and to me one of the most memorable parts of the show.

Sayanee was as good as expected.

To me those where the highlights. A lot of people liked Okada Nana's performance, it didn't really do anything for me. I didn't think the song Mayu sang fit her style at all.

As for the rest, I found myself asking this question. What's the best course of action for those who can't sing very well?

Let them sing in all their mediocre glory? (Suda, Kitahara)
Let them sing a little, but then let other members enter the stage and bail them out? (Sakura, Paru)
    Go full lip-synch (Jurina)

As much as I like Jurina, and Pinheel to Professor, I did feel somewhat disappointed that the performance is such an obvious lip synch. Especially after seeing the other solos. I had more appreciation for Akarin and Rie. They know they aren't that good, but they go out there, have fun, and belt it out anyway.

Like others said, I was happy to see them dust off a few old favorites that we haven't seen performed in a while. I also enjoyed the HKT-ness of the setlist. At least was my perception.

There was also considerable utilization of live musicians, which was also very refreshing. AKB needs to do more of that!

Kojiharu and Annin didn't perform at all.

Was there any talk of a BD release or any kind of video of this concert? I'm especially interested in that Arashi no Yoru ni wa performance... [IMG]

Sakura singing a Nogi song? :)
Btw, is that really Kitahara Diamond? as in when she sing it, she replace Oogoe with Kitahara?

As for Jurina, I think she is focusing on the performance first. I believe most comments about it are about how sexy the performance was, so mission accomplished?

Too much HKT-ness for me, it would be better if they include more NMB and SKE songs. But the pro is that the setlist is so interesting. There are some awesome songs that people usually forgot :)
Churi !!!! I always love her doing Team A and No3b songs, they suit her so well. Definitely a must-watch when the dvd comes out.

Kitahara Diamond might be one to look forward to too. And Akarin's song is just the perfect one for her. So at least she and Tomu got something nice in this concert, even though I can argue that both of them are not really solo material. But this can be said with other girls in Senbatsu as well. For one thing Yui's voice is definitely not strong enough, still the effort is appreciated. Mgmt should at least let Jurina and Sakure do live too. They are mainly performers but they do not sound outrageously grating when live singing. Never mind that fans like me will always only get to hear the recorded versions in the DVD. Just let them sing live.

And Komiharu's Tobenai Agehachou ! I want to see this ! Loved this song since I first become fan and its one of those underrated songs, in my opinion.

Lastly, it would have been much nicer if they do more units instead of solos. Like I said, solo's not everyone's cake.

Solo, I believe, is the reward for top 16. The rest sing in units. So you'll have at least 16 solo in this concert (minus non participant like Kojiharu) so that is almost half of the performances.
