no way Hokkaido-Tohoku goes in any unit with Kirara (and new Yamagata). They'll probably form "Best Early Northerners: Four Incredible Cuties + Akarin" abbreviated as BENFICA.

 

How do you know even before she posted it?

If they go with Team 8 only, regional team sounds like a decent idea. Different than last year, now they have plenty of chance to interact with their senpais and kouhais.

Or they can just go crazy again and bet everything in one basket while hoping this time that member's luck is much better than Hattsu.

I'm pretty sure they're going to do a Hokkaido one, especially now that Nagyu got closer to Nagyu and Nappi. If they win we can expect promotion in Hokkaido for that unit. But they wouldn't win since Nappi won last year.

Mion, Renacchi, Odaeri unit.

Berin will definitely join Yuihan's unit this year.

Last night was the first time in my six years of being a hardcore AKB fan that I finally saw any of them perform in person and it was amazing! From the second the opening chimes in Aitakatta hit I was in heaven. I may be biased but I thought Team 8 was easily the highlight of the concert.

I was really curious about what songs they were going to sing. My most muted expectation was that they would do Flying Get, Hebirote, KFC and maybe something recent like Teacher Teacher and that's it. Then during the concert it hit me, this is an anisong festival and all the other acts were performing songs from anime. Some were even singing songs they themselves did not originate, for example I*Ris sang the original One Piece theme and Shokotan sang the Saint Seiya and Evangelion themes. For a second I thought maybe they might perform Kokoro no Hane or Idol wa Unyanya no Ken? Would they attempt some anime karaoke like these other acts? But no they just did a standard AKB set and the crowd ate it up anyways.

My theory is they didn't perform Heavy Rotation because they didn't have the mic stands to do the choreography. I'm not completely sure on this but I think Team 8 actually had the longest setlist of the night. I*Ris may have sang as much or more, they did a melody of songs from an anime I'd never heard of so it was hard to keep track.

lol, glad you have fun there simple question. Who was the center of Hachinosu Dance? Is it Hijiri?

 

I'm sorry but I don't remember who was center. Hachinosu Dance was the best part of the show though. Honestly the choreography for KFC is more intense than anything the non-Team 8 acts were doing, so by comparison Hachinosu Dance was a real show stealer. And I never would have expected them to perform it so it was a delight when they did. I wasn't even certain they'd perform 47 no Suteki na Machi e considering the limited time they had.

Hijiri did seem to be leading the MCs. She had some english comments written on her hand in marker that I think it's a miracle did not get smudged during the performance.
