It was. It's a bit strange that the didn't bring it up even though they brought up Hidaaya's episode at the amusement park.

 

@Nivaj, because it wasn't... amusing. They mentioned Hidaaya's because her past experience lead to an over-the-top reaction.

The 'Hawaiians' EP was great in the beginning, sorta meh in the second half... but, pretty good show, 3 of 5 in my book.

I really liked the hayaoki corner this EP -- while Car and Mikey scored middling... MizuMari topped the scoreboard with her hilarious neoki gags: 76,000,000 points! Of course, in everything else she was her hard-luck, suberi queen self... with her daikon 'Oooi!' skit, the 'i love you not' daisy petal plucking, and (sort of) the macaron challenge.

I thought the Hawaiians part was dull... but that's only because I didn't take to the Hawaiian motif nor the Japanese hula dancing part... because I live here, and that's tourist-y pish. The steel guitar and the Japanglish pronunciation of the song 'Hukilau', made me vurp a bit. But you may've loved it, just a matter of over-familiarity for me and the wife.

 

yeah it was more of a traditional variety episode, actually almost without any locals. Anyway I do recommend for everyone to watch it because some of them certainly didn't hesitate to show a lot of skin

next stop is Gifu... the one after better be Nara! Momoka, Ruka, Harupyon come on make that happen

quite nice episodes, though judging by the photos it seems like they cut most of the marketplace segment, which is a pity. I liked the historical clothes look. Kocchan YDK!
