This is great news! I feel like they should do this more often. I think it's been years since the last nationwide tour... I remember the ones they did by teams, like back in 2014. I watched those with Paruru and Naanya and all. I loved it. It's been forever... There was one with young members too from what I remember. well I'm glad that this is happening again and I hope they will do well!

The tour senbatsu for the first 3 days is really nice ^^/ I'm curious for the tour senbatsu of the other dates, I guess it will have some differences :chuffed:

I just hope Megu makes tour senbatsu for at least a couple dates. Otherwise it's a very good selection, and I'm glad they are finally doing tours again.

I'm glad they are doing the tours again, it feels like forever since the last national tour.

IMHO They should be doing this more often.

So happy AKB48 is doing tours again!
I'm in Japan during August and I could apply for August 17th and August 20th's concerts. Team K's concert is my priority, though.
I saw we can only apply with AKB48 Mobile and二本柱の会会員先行. Is there some foreign fan who want to apply for AKB Tour? How we can have AKB48 Mobile and 二本柱の会会員先行 account if we are foreign? Maybe that's not the thread but I hope someone can answer me :)

AKB48 Mobile has iOS version that I believe you can register even if you are foreigners (require Japanese app store), but I use Android so I don't know if a valid Japanese phone number is required or not (probably though)

For Nihonbashirakai, you can pay using JCB credit card (or maybe Amex, I am not sure on this) (or Japanese-issued Visa and Mastercard, though if you have one you probably don't need to ask). You can put in Tenso mailing address and/or phone number IIRC.

    Hope this helps.

I can confirm that nihonbashiranokai can be paid with Amex. I could only use katakana for my name but that's all.

My UK-issued Amex card has worked for me with Nihonbashiranokai. You can create an account from abroad using any address in Japan (e.g. a hotel). When you've created your Fan Club account you then need to link it to the one you have for the AKB48 Ticket Center - on the Fan Club home page click on this button:

    id.jpg

Then follow the instructions which if I remember correctly are reasonably straightforward as long as you have your Ticket Center ID number to hand.

Also, you might get advance access with other fanclub memberships too. At least SKE and STU ones are possible to join without a japanese phone number.

Edit: the advance reception for nihonbashiranokai and AKB mobile for the first concerts starts tomorrow so get crackin’ :D

It is even explicitly mentioned that sisters group might not get a shot lol. Along with SKE and STU, NMB also doesn't require Japanese number. But you still need Amex or JCB IIRC.

Note: JCB and Amex doesn't have issueing country code in the CC number, so they can't be check easily if it is Japanese issued or not. If anyone intend to buy frequently from Japan, either JCB or Amex is recommended. I believe JCB and Discovery shared the same system (At least you can use JCB at shop that accept Discovery, but I don't know about the reverse)

Well, the Team stage are going strong. In fact, recently we get all stages once a week, which I don't even remember the last time this happened. Unlike before the last shuffle, where there were barely a team stage once a month.

I just wish they go all out, and assign team to the tour instead of mostly being a tour senbatsu, like the previous tour(s)
