Event / Concert AKB48G Sports Festival (15/08/25)

Has there being any word on this airing on TV and when? I'm sorry if this has been said already but I'm trying to stay as spoiler free as possible (yeah, I know) and a quick search didn't come up with any results. Thanks a bunch in advance!

 

Nothing as far as television is concerned so far.

Not even a DVD/Blu-ray announcement yet.

Wow! Congrats to Team 8!! They sure are killing it in undokai events this year~ Not surprised. They're young and energetic~

But next to them, S, KII, E all consecutively ranking so high!! SAKAE Banzai~~
Jurina's winning run is getting so much exposure!

Sakura, on the other hand, is becoming a legend in these undokai events.
From that run to the jump rope, all pure win! lmao!
Rena now has someone to pass the crown to~

Glad to see NGT48 also making their debut in a 48G event. Yukirin sticks out so much lol
I hope they can get overseas sister groups to join next year too.

And lastly a bit of relief for Team A this time.
Team B cleaning after the event was fun to watch. I wonder if Yuria got a headache with her new team,,
Can't wait to see the whole thing!

On a side note why is Nmb having their own sports festival?

 

^lol why not? AKB had their own sports festival a couple of times and not to long ago, they just had their own team sports festival (A, K, B, Team4) , I guess now sister groups are starting to do it. (promotion wise maybe)

 

Can someone tell me where I can watch it please ? I can't find this sport festival anywhere...

I was watching the stream and i was surprised how fast Uha (6th legs) and Juunakko (4th legs) ran during the final of Team relay. They totally carried Team S to get 1st place in team relay. sugoi !!



Also Sakura did an excellent job stealing every1 attention in the jump rope event and 50m dash.

it was a live broadcast...the link is gone.

they didnt do a decent job of setting up the 50m dash event. Runners have to run thru some dirt to get to the finish line and i saw few members tripped over as they approached this area. (Kojimako, Komiharu and Makkii fell down running thru the dirt patch)

setting up the running lanes from Mid-field to 2nd base is bad....runners tripping over the dirt patch...I am not sure if the members were wearing regular sneakers or track shoes with spikes. anyway if they going to do more sport festival, I suggested they should improve the running lanes (make sure there is no dirt patch anywhere).

 

The show has just been released on DVD a couple of days ago, and there are already available streams. I love the Internet

For the obstacle course, Ryoka carrying Renacchi? Given how Ryoka's pretty tiny, I would expect the opposite...

 

Ryoka is tiny but strong. Can't really say the same for Renacchi...

 

the high jump over the bar was the best event for me because I couldn't stay still wondering who was going to win and I was nervous everytime someone jumped.I give her props for attempting 130cm but that was very exciting.team 8's young guns are loaded with athletes and I can't wait to see the next event

 

The last 3 point you mentioned did actually happened first during 2nd AKB sports festival. With Yokomichi slaying the 1000m, Myao in place of Rabutan, and yeah...Abe . This should be the running gag for next sports festival
