Talk about AKB A-sides of 2018.
I won't be surprised if Sentrain ranks high.
I also won't be surprised if Jabaja ranks low.

 

unless Naachan got another A-side center.. I doubt it will rank low

 

I wouldn't be either. if if does though, Akai Pinheel will rank way down or not at all.

 

Basicly it is SSK for songs. Fans who subscribe to the paid services and those who buy end-of-year (NWM) single will get 1 vote per account/CD.

Some years ago, the prize is getting an MV. So it became the race for certain fanbase to make their favourite team song win. Like "Team B oshi" and "Hashire Penguin". But lately most B-sides also has MV. So...it becomes some race for pride. And NGT fans spoiled the race in the last 2 years, especially last year when they manage to put the entire setlist of NGT stage on top 100 rank, on certain order. Their closest rival these past years has been T8 with 47 suteki machi, which...kind of like Mayuyu back then. Strong enough but hardly win #1.

With the emergence of fanbases of Hachinosu dance, Ohayou kara hajimaru sekai, and Teacher teacher...they may dominate again. Lol...

But NWM sales speak otherwise.

 

Team B oshi MV was never the prize of Request Hour. It was from the 1830m album; there's a voting code for songs that didn't have any MV, top 3 will get MV.

And on RH 2013, it was never announced that #1 was getting a music video; it was a surprise when the DVD/Blu ray's content was announced.

 

Ohhh so it's like the yearly house cup in Harry Potter but with songs. Interesting, might have to dig in some of the previous years' setlists to check out the popular ones. Thank you!

Sekai no Hito he wins would make me happy as Yuka oshi but my feeling says Sentimental Train will win.

Because Jurina oshi wants this song to be centered by its original center that is rarely due to her health last few months.

GWS Jurina! Well, I dunno about her but I saw her now sometimes appears on magazine tho looks like she's still not allowed to perform more than a song.
