With old segment of AKBingo being criticized by native fans, I think it's safe to assume that Mouri-P will think twice about reviving another old ones. In fact, us international fans will have to presume that our demand of reviving old segment is surprisingly, not what japanese 48G fans want.

Perhaps there are times when an audience needs to be taught to like what is good for them :hmm:

Not sure if you care to make it consistent, but I used this earlier to find all episodes with Tano Yuka, my oshimen. I originally used the Yuka spelling to find her name through CTRL+F, and was wondering "how come she took such a long break between 278 and 379?" (as if she hadn't appeared at all in 2015).

Then I looked at the episode titles and noticed that she would have to be in some of them, such as THE WIZ Audition and Narrator Iwami's new oshimen. Then I noticed that for those episodes, it uses the Yuuka spelling. It's exactly half – half (49 episodes per spelling exactly).

    Yuka: 196, 197, 244, 245, 246, 247, 248, 253, 254, 257, 258, 265, 266, 267, 268, 271, 272, 273, 275, 276, 277, 278, 278, 379, 380, 384, 385, 386, 387, 388, 389, 390, 391, 392, 393, 394, 395, 399, 400, 401, 402, 415, 416, 417, 418, 420, 421, 456, 458

    Yuuka: 201, 203, 243, 250, 251, 252, 255, 256, 260, 270, 279, 280, 281, 283, 284, 285, 286, 287, 288, 289, 290, 292, 293, 295, 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, 305 306, 307, 308, 309, 310, 311, 312, 313, 314, 315, 316, 321, 322, 323 324, 325, 332, 341, 342

I was also wondering, is it correct that episodes 324 and 325 both aired on the 27th of January 2015? They're Lucky Girl Ranking episodes.

I can understand if it's too much effort to correct either spelling and see that every episode uses the same spelling, but I thought I'd let you know :^^;:

It's super easy to fix, I just used the search and replace function. I actually already did that for my database sheet to count all their appearances but forgot to do it here as well. :^^;:

324, 325 is probably a copy paste error, but I am not sure. I changed it so that 325 aired the next week as otherwise there would have been a gap.

Do you (or does anyone else) know who is in charge of this? I noticed that the timing for ep 197 is completely off :^^;:

EDIT: Never mind, there must have been an issue with my player. I rewound after looking around a bit to see if there were other subs somewhere else and suddenly it worked.

Good thing about Kuro-chan is that we had four new pages between the weekly softsubs. There was a time when there was not even a single post between them.

Anyways, we're back for part 2 of the Kuro-chan revival and he has some more wisdom he needs to pass onto the members. So today he will give them advice on their dancing routines, check their well-being during a handshake and train them in the art of Muchaburi Dodgeball. It'll be tons of fun for the members!

    --------------------------------------------------------

This week in the "Rissen Awareness Corner"... well, there is nothing new. She was so happy when she thought she hit someone, but she didn't understand the rules, so it didn't count. Therefore I think she needs to tell you something:

    --------------------------------------------------------

Also I think it's time for an update on the appearance statistics.

So far after 30 episodes we have the following ranking:

    1. Oguri Yui 30
    2. Hama Sayuna 28
    2. Mukaichi Mion 28
    2. Okabe Rin 28
    5. Shitao Miu 27
    6. Suzuki Kurumi 25
    7. Yamauchi Mizuki 23
    7. Yokoyama Yui (Team 8) 23
    9. Komiyama Haruka 22
    10. Kubo Satone 21
    10. Omori Maho 21
    10. Utada Hatsuka 21

It looks like Yuiyui will lose her perfect streak, though. I searched the preview high and low for her and she doesn't seem to be in in the next episodes. So at the very least Rin and Hama-chan will draw level with her, Mion is also missing so Shitao has the chance to catch up. But the final sprint to the finish line should be exciting!

Rissen is sadly also missing in the next episodes, but I should be able to find some more goodness of her to keep the Rissen Awareness Corner alive.

Poor Hattsu's Reverse Handshake segment got cut and they didn't even acknowledge her existence.
"We have these THREE contestants! No person named Hatsuka ever took part in it!"

    [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]

I wonder why it got cut?
    a) Hattsu did just way too weird stuff even for TV
    b) Kuro-chan was even creepier than during the rest of the show
    c) It was so ridiculously boring not even a tongue in cheek summary could salvage it

that last episode was so awkward and painful to watch. especially the fact that his jokes are not funny and the girls dont even try to cover up their disgusts.
(another skills the older generations better at is respecting the guests no matter how bad their are).

I found it a lot more funny than I had thought I was going to. His brand of humor certainly doesn't seem... hmmm... conventional? but I thought he was still funny in an offbeat way. It's neat to see them interact with something they weren't expecting or prepped for. I can understand why people find him to awkward to enjoy though.

Yes, but I don't understand why someone would blame the members for acting disgusted (most of the time they were just laughing anyways)? The older gens were acting exactly the same when Ijiri Okada or younger Kuro-chan visited them.
It's their freaking job to act that way. It wouldn't be any fun if they were happy to slap Kuro's hairy back with their bare hands or if they were head over heels to hold his greasy hands. The fun lies in seeing them in several more or less awkward situations and how they're dealing with it.
