The problem is not so much the printer, its Alice Staff that prohibits use of their trademarks! If you show up in the theater with fanmade stuff that clearly violates that, chance are high, staff will simply throw you out (in the best case). Thats why the fans are actively engaging the staff and ask them about such things, before they go and make shirts and stuff like that. Keep in mind, that Japan has a quite different view on pirating and things like that.
