I thought that this was a good show (nicely streamed to my TV via a chromecast )

can't find my SSA concert DVD ... not where it should be but also not where it would be other than that?!?! ... fortunately it's a lot cheaper than an AKB48 concert sells for.

 

Indeed. Although I was expecting a performance of the new song.

Likely the most economical 2 1/2 hour performance ever. I guess since it wasn't Blu-Ray and we got the 75 min. behind the scenes footage for free, that kept the cost accessible.

Coming up on July 10th, Alice #10 members will once again be performing alongside several VK bands at Club Quattro in Nagoya.
I recall a fantastic performance with Alice #10 and Fest Vainqueur not to long ago. The girls fit right in with this genre.

If your proxy shopper offers to purchase items in person from vendors, you may want to enlist that service to obtain the latest single
"Don Don Happy", it is now being distributed to some of the 400+ Donmaru locations throughout Japan. Not sure which ones at this point in time, appears as if it's starting in the most populated areas and expanding as time progresses, also not sure if a food purchase is required. It would seem logical to lure people to the shops to eat as part of the promotion, otherwise they've become CD distributors by default.

Always liked Mayu, and is high on the list of "up & comers".
One of Mayu's finest moments thus far was the featured character "Rose" in the online game "ELSWORD". Mayu was also chosen as Publicity Ambassador for the release. Alongside Erina as the character "Freyja", and the Kamen Joshi track "JEWELS" as the image song, made for a much anticipated release.

Mighty Moa strikes again, going solo at the Kagome Napolitan Stadium 2017, cosplaying the character "Napoli Tan" with bass in hand.

Moa has been getting a lot of recognition lately for her musical skills and is developing nicely along side her duties as Armor Girl/Kamen Joshi.
We've been keeping a keen eye on her development (musically, that is) and will highlight her preferred tools.
This may be a first for Stage48, an Idol Rig Rundown.

First is the totally badass ESP/EDWARDS E-FR-MOA CUSTOM BASS......

...complete with Moa-Star logo on the front and the Skull with Wings logo on the back.
Moa states in the latest Bass Magazine feature that she now has the second revision. The original was top tier construction as far as woods and electronics. We can only guess that a possible reshaped (thinner) neck radious was further developed to allow her small hands work up and down the neck with more ease.
ESP (Electric Sound Products) has become one of the leading manufacturers in hand crafted instruments and rivals anything made in the US. The EDWARDS' are made with the same high quality components, but are cut with CNC machines and only sold in Japan.

Moa made it into the 2017 ESP catalogue as well.


Moa has recently moved to DR Strings which are coated for longevity and neon colored.

Following the signal path from the bass, Moa is now using the EX-PRO/PRO 10Z wireless system allowing her freedom of movement and eliminating long cable runs on stage. The receiver is attached to her body and sends the RF signal to her pedal board.

The signal path then hits the ubiquitous Tech 21 Sansamp, which is a bass amp modeler, eliminating the need for a mic'ed up amp. A top quality piece found in countless bass rigs over the last 30 years.
On to the Albit GC-3 compressor which lowers the volume of louder notes and raises the volume of softer notes, giving her a nice, smooth attack.
Next is an actual sound effect, the Source Audio Envelope Filter, that is an auto-wah effect, with the width of the "wah" determined by the attack of the strings instead of the traditional wah wah rocker pedal.

From the time of the above shot at her Birth Fest performance, Moa added the ZOOM Multi Stomp, that will give her a huge variety of effects to explore any sonic territory she chooses in one simple box.
All of the components are powered by a DC Stick(batteries suck) and the entire signal chain is sent directly to the P.A. where the sound engineer will mix her in with the backing tracks.
A fantastic set up with ease of portability and all top of the line components.
If that wasn't enough, there is now a static display at the Ikebe music store, Bass Station (Revole Akihabara).




Moa's first appearance in Bass Magazine circa 2015, she still appears regularly till today.
