However, they allow a grace period for such occasions, and by whatever method one can use to quickly shed those last few grams in order to qualify, she in fact did, and will fight tomorrow.

Woahhh!! That was a fast fight nanaka did good. She gave powerful and fast punches. Its a good thing she qualified for the weigh in the second try.

 

For sure, I was wondering if she would have lost some stamina in the second round due to whatever quick exercise they did in that 2 hour grace period to lose 400 grams.
Good thing she took care of business in such quick fashion.

Yeah, from other angles you could see her opponents head snap back from some good right handers.

............soon as I saw it I thought it would be perfect for Kamen Joshi. Alice Project needs to invest in some for the shows.
They even resemble Steam Girls C02 Laser Blasters.
Perfectly legal in the USA , but probably not in Japan.

Yes, she was Armor Girl for a short time.

Not really common at all for members to join other groups. It seems like most of the girls that graduate do so for medical/personal reasons and rarely resurface as performers.
However, Steam Girl Reona Kameda did some solo work after she graduated.

I doubt that once graduated, a member would ever come back. All those hungry cadets are competing for the next opportunity to grab that spotlight left by a departed member.
However, the greatest comeback of all time might be accomplished by Tomoka Igari. They are reserving her position indefinitely, and if she can make a recovery, it would be the greatest story ever told.

My ranking last november:

1. Waka (lol.. found her godlike as Slimegirls center, it was the purest of love)
2. Mao (didn't care about the youth factor, promote who deserve it)
3. Saki (girls sing good.. i have a soft spot for average looking girls who wanna wear mask!!!)
4. Hinata (ballet artist with a cool vocal tone)
5. Sora (woulda been my #1 if i had grasp completly what she capable of back then, ace potencial)
6. Jun -gone-
7. Shiori (i'm here for the music 1st. and not a fan of her singing, bad combo)
8. Hino (oh i love Hino don't get me wrong)
9. Yuurie (didn't think she was ready then part1)
10. Seri (didn't think she was ready then part2)

This time:

1. Waka (most well rounded idol talent, natural center, glad she still there, bit cerisier, might have cost her last time, they wanna separate the 2 group)
2. Saria (fan, awesome prospect, lucky voice, passionate, early to say but shade of ace potencial, we will see, curious if she could grab the next kohosei center spot also)
3a. Saki (best singer, girl got tool, but seeing the substance avialable i wish she would go on more inventive road with her musicality)
3b. Yuina (tall girl vocalist, yes i've learn it a significant things among those army of tiny nippon lung idol with a dream, like the creativity in her singing)
5. Yurie (not often there.. difficult to place, look talented and on a push, bit cerisier)
6a. Harumi (very pretty dancer part 1a, great leg move, mvp straight to the hall of fame hair. Sing large, problem singing high. With what seem to be natural tendency i'm curious if she could work a better bassy tone closer to what Moa/Mayu does)
6b. Miya (very pretty dancer part 1b, creative, she wrote the lyrics of the last Slimegirls song. Slow then fast.. it so cool lately she act like a cat onstage)
8. Marie (if we forget her legit guitar playing skill, as onstage idole i have difficult time finding her above average in much within this group, if.. is plume still a thing?)

Good god it a pretty group of ladies. They retrograde Rena back to Slimegirls!! We're missing story there people

Close to center complete kohosei formation goes like this:

Yuina - Waka - Miya/Yurie
... Saki ... Harumi

Usually it the girls around center girls who stand the better chance, it tell a story.

Steamgirls: they need better singing, i think they overstack on girl engage on similar duty. Mao, Shiori, Hinata need singing help, that half the unit now.

Saki? Yuina? ... Saria? (told you im a fan, help)

Armorgirls: don't dig Hitomi frontline, might change, i'm missing Maki/Hinako there.

Waka? Yuina? Saria?

ha ha ha ha, whew! I looooovee those build-up week!

You don't check in often enough, but when you do, it's nuclear.
Always appreciate when someone adds the reasoning behind their logic.

I will take a guess and say there will be only one promotion: Waka will join Armor Girls.

The only other scenario I could see playing out is a veteran Armor Girl (Moa or Misa) jumping into Kanon's soon to be vacancy in Alice10, thus giving Saki a chance in their stead. Although that would leave AG's a bit lacking in prominent members for the moment.

Hard to imagine any movement out of Steam Girls at this time to take Kanon's slot, but at some point, it is likely that OG Steam Girl Sara Kurose will join Alice10, but not now. I like Steam girls just as they are currently.

Alice10 could survive as 9 until further considerations for 2019, so only a remote chance that Kanon's position will be filled this soon.

Safe bet - Waka joins Armor Girls
