They did not, but Ayamin did...

And with that, what was shaping up to be a likely great stage. Less than great now.

Ayamin wrote that this decision was made on the previous day already (April 15th). She did her very best to keep up with everyone, but improving her dancing took all she had - she didn't have enough time to polish her expressions. She's obviously really frustrated right now, and asks for her fans to wait for her to stand on that stage.

It was a VERY good first performance. You could see how hard the girls worked these past few weeks to get it just right.

Wow, I think I don't know like 75% of the songs in that setlist. Nice to see them performing the unpopular songs though, AKB has a lot of amazing hidden gems
Anyway, I'm quite glad that they're performing Green Flash, if only we could see some more recent songs that would be neat.

And I'm glad to hear that it was a good performance, too. Hopefully those who are participating in SSK will have some sort of boost from this stage.

and the ace is a girl who don't has any interest to ssk, huh [hehe]
nice setlist especially for the unit section, but as for the dance it seems not as hard as kamikyokushibari stage in general :fear:

Are we allowed to ask for links? i remember someone saying LODs are allowed because they are only viewable in Japan.

Are you reading the same rules I am? LoDs are not the same as DVDs/BRs. The issue is can you buy it outside Japan.

"Most 48 Group products are obtainable internationally via Amazon Japan, HMV, and CDJapan, among other sites. If you can buy it abroad, then rips of that content are not permitted on the site. That means no CD rips, concert rips, DVD bonuses, etc. Radio previews, performances on music programs, or LoDs are allowed, as they are not normally obtainable outside of Japan."

Better ask the mods to be sure.
Technically, it is possible to buy Lods for foreigners.
    Just don't ask me how.

    Edit:
I left a question in the rules thread.

Not a kami stage for me, but she did pick a lot of songs I really like that haven't been used in a while. I was stoked to hear Boku dake no Value and Kore Kara Wonderland. I thought the choices for the unit songs were a little weird, Suitei Marmalade isn't one I would have thought to put there and didn't make much impact for me, but I did like this rendition of Green Flash and the inclusion of Itsuka mita umi no soko.

They also did a lot of SKE songs...no surprise with SKE's focus on choreo. Two of my favorite crowd-pleaser songs included, Bokura no kaze and Pinocchiogun. But Kiss made countdown, blegh.

Did you all notice that the opening song lineup tells a story though?
    1. Renai sousenkyo - all the guys choosing who they like in the class
    2. Boku dake no value - the main chara of this stage has chosen his girl that everyone else passed over, but he thinks is a jewel
    3. Kiss made countdown - they've started a relationship and now they're waiting for their first kiss to happen
    4. 12gatsu no kangaroo - the couple has made it safely past the first stages of a relationship and now are comfortable with PDA lol
    5. Horizon - they drive off into the sunset together wondering what their future holds "What will become of us? Will our love persist? There's no use stopping, we just gotta move forward!"

I had cancel machi for tonight's performance. I knew I wasn't going to win since my number was really high, but I actually came closer than expected. Hard to believe the 2nd performance of this brand new stage would go all the way to cancel machi #85, and it would've gone into the 90's if it wasn't for three people who won and arrived really late. Lucky for me, there weren't too many people left who didn't win, so we all got to do the post-show high-touch. I was especially happy since Zunchan was performing, so I would get to quickly say hello.

So this also meant I had to stay for the show. I didn't know the setlist beforehand, and only briefly glanced at the performance roster. For me there was a lot to like about this stage...

    1. They led off with one of my all-time favorite AKB songs, Renai Sousenkyo
    2. I loved the SKE-centricity of it, although I'm not a fan of Pinocchio Gun, I love the other SKE songs in the setlist.
    3. I thought the units were well chosen. Well, except for Green Flash. (not a fan of that song) But even that performance had really good dancing. In fact...
    4. @wlerin mentioned this before, but they really seemed well-rehearsed, despite the fact that they expended a lot of energy in the opening set, and admittedly said that they would need to get used to the strenuousness of the dancing.
    5. Nice choice of loli-rific songs (Value, Season)

The only part of the show I didn't like were the three songs after the units, but that's just my opinion. I also thought Tabidachi no Toki was an interesting ending choice. Not that I don't like the song (Listening to it made me miss playing my AKB pachinko machine), but it just makes for a somber ending.

So like I said I won the "high wave" (by default) They changed how it's done a little, and it made for an awkward moment. After I went through the metal detector, I grabbed the tray holding my stuff, and they grabbed it away from me. WTF? At first I thought they were telling me that I had to leave all my stuff outside, but then I realized I had to remove my stuff right there. Before, you went inside and removed it at a little table just inside the door. Anyway...

I got a lot of cool reactions. Unfortunately I didn't know who many of the girls were saying hello to me. Zunchan always reacts to me, as does Orin. Komiharu, for the second time, gave me a big reaction, and actually kinda turned to follow me by her. The last time she did something like that it inspired me to get a handshake ticket for her for an upcoming event. I may need to get more. I think Sato Shiori also gave me a big reaction, but it all goes by quickly, and I got shoved by staff at one point. At the end of the day, I usually don't care for watching the show on the monitors, but I will do it if it means I get to do the "high-wave" at the end.

Anyway, I just wanted to comment that I like the stage, and I think the members did a great job with it.

I'm glad that's the one they dropped lol.

But it ruins the story a little bit!
