It's wedding bells for Eto Misa. The former Nogizaka46 member said "I do" to Saitama Seibu Lions' infielder Genda Sosuke, and their wedding is set to take place within this year.

Eto Misa and Genda Sosuka's romance started while Eto Misa interviewed Genda Sosuke as Professional Baseball News host on 30 April 2018, for Genda Sosuke, it was a kind of love at first sight, and he waited and confessed his love to Eto Misa until her graduation in March, and they announced they are dating in April 2019.

I admire the way that she does everything gracefully. When she knew she has found the right one, she didn't mind to let go of her idol status. To support, she has found her place in the entertainment industry and it was just about time she can venture in something else. It seems right from the start they dated seriously with marriage in mind. That's why the marriage happens not too long after. She graduated without any bad rumours happening. They seemingly dated only once she was no longer an idol. She didn't need to announce to the world "Kekkonshimasu" in an important public event and ensued chaos.

Even when the information got leaked, the damage control has already been put in place. She said they are dating as a matter of fact. People are smart. They know that this dating is not just a play, they are honest and serious. Of course there are people who felt "betrayed" but there are people supporting her more. Even her marriage is done low-key. Perhaps so far they had the marriage only by law and small family and close relative gathering. I believe her wedding ceremony will be something a bit more grand but they're playing it safe and wait for the right moment.

It helps that her idol chara has been a mature onee-san who fits the glove of being good at adult romance.

It's all my speculation of course. As for me, I think the way she treats love is inspiring. Of course her husband contributes a lot to this too.

 

I think @vshav, in jp they just need to submit the paper for marriage(administration). For wedding(ceremony) they can do that later
