Same for me. But still, Wordsmith iis right. Travelling within Europe is not a big deal and there are plenty of cool people to meet and talk to. You wouldn't happen to be located in the Netherlands?

never been to France, right? j/k, no offence to any French people here ;)

Thanks guys, I knew I was being an idiot! :p
Well that's everything sorted, flights and accomodation included and it came to about £140 which I can't really complain about. Managed to convince four friends to come along too which was a bit of a surprise since I thought I was going on my own until a few hours ago!

^ Well since we didn't trust ourselves to carry too many sheets of paper we decided to buy a three day pass but we are in fact only going for two days, the third and the fourth. Here's hoping the girls weren't talking rubbish and that the performances really are going to be on those days!

I'm in the progress of convincing one friend  His sister is a French teacher, who hopefully can hook us up with some cheap accommodation. 4 days in Paris, two akb48 concerts for a total of around 200 euro all in. Sounds like a bargain, seeing as just a plane ticket to japan is over 1000 euro.

We can only hope the problem is solved until then. If it gets cancelled b/c of this stupid swine flu thing STILL fluing around, you'd better believe I'll be punting pigs off the cologne cathedral until my legs fall off. Oh, and I'll be burning a few scientists at the stake to encourage the others to TRIPLE their efforts.

Oh guys, don't worry because of the swine flu... yet. I think the press is just being alarmist about it.

I'm thinking of attending this but I'm not sure yet. If I was 100% sure the concert will take place I would book my tickets right away. But I know what happened to Buono in Stockholm. Two single day tickets looks good but then I need to be sure the dates are correct.

you say that, but you could turn up on the day thinking its fine
and it still might get cancelled for whatever reason

^It's really unlikely to be canceled though. Buono was canceled because the expo didn't make enough money/ran out of money etc. The paris expo is the biggest in Europe and has been running for years opposed to the stockholm one which was running for the first time.
