We speak about the concert. But somebody has an idea of the songs which could be presented

 

since the new single is released just before the event
i'll be suprised if they dont do that
i'm also expecting oogoe and 10nen

what else they'll do i have no idea
as long as it isnt all a5 songs since i havent watched it XD

I wonder if they'll do a full setlist....

 

I think they could perform : Oogoe Diamond, 10Nen Sakura, Namida Surprise, Dear my Teacher, Skirt,Hirari, Sakura no Hanabiratachi and AKB Sanjou!

 

I'm excited about hearing the overture XD

They should kick the guy responsible for this video in the nuts. Then laugh at his pain.
Factual errors, and pretty boring to watch.
If I was brand new to AKB48 , I doubt I would feel any urge to go see them after having watched this video.

We wanna see videos with the girls presenting AKB48. In Engrish!

 

basically i don't see any problems with the video, all of them are facts, it is an otaku culture. at the end of the day, the person doing the video was making a good job~

 

They used Viva Hurricane from H1 to represent Team A. .____.

 

I didn't see any manjor problems with the video.
There are a few bits and pieces we as fans would notice
but they're not trying to appeal to us as fans
they're trying to appeal to potential fans.
so i think things such as "viva hurricane" for A can be forgiven.
after all A were present during that were they not XD

 

I like that the 'TV series' part had Sakura no Hanabiratachi 2008's PV...

 

If you want gaijin attention: push team A Itano, Kojima, Shinoda, Maeda, Miho up front. With their latest image.

Then team K: Push the LATEST OKU ! She'll catch lot of attention immediately coz she looks Caucasian.

Team B: no suggestion, you need time to appreciate the B power, Shonichi is the right move, I have nothing to add.

And seriously, taking a H song to present A... that error is enough for the editor to go and burn in hell

Actually, for first timers, team A lineup is the best, coz they're eyecandies, and organizing a new Himawari is too much a hassle in term of lesson, coordination, and.. more senbatsu? .. another senbatsu would hurt the feeling of the unpicked girl... When it's A.. you can convince yourself, okay, it's team A, but when it's senbatsu.. you will have the sense of "WHY NOT ME?"

 

I lol'd so hard while watching the video, but I do agree that the video is not for the fans and that it is just a video to grab some potential fans out there. So, in the end, I guess it doesn't even matter that much.

The video is... okay. True enough for new fans. It's not meant for US. WE already are addicted to our girls ^^ They want new wallets to rape Fans to cherish the girls.

 

But 99% of the people on this forum are gaijins and Oku isn't particularly popular here? It's like when MM tried to advance into China and they added Junjun and Linlin, as far as I remember Reina, Ai, etc. were still a lot more popular. I don't really think people get into foreign groups for people of their own race.

The video is pretty bad, but its not anything amazing misleading, apart from people maybe thinking that Team K members they saw in Viva! Hurricane would be appearing.

i agree that the point of them being there is to push japanese pop culture
so sticking maachan in JUST BECAUSE she looks european would be stupid
If people wanted to see thier own race and culture in performace they could go
to the nearest concert hall and see someone else.

They wouldnt be at JAPAN expo

Yepyep, I even spotted my eversmiling rascal (Kayano) in the "nage KISS de uchi otose" performance

(and ofc I have seen maachan quite a few times, but that's beside the point)

I wasn't saying that she SHOULDN'T come, I was merely pointing out that
using her not-as-japanese looks to win over foreign fans is retarded.
