June 1 - Nao [Ameba]
The lessons I learnt from my concurrency



Good evening,
Team K2′s Furuhata Nao here.



During the A stage performance on
the 29th May, NMB48′s Yagura Fuuko
and I had our farewell ceremony (^^)



I took concurrency with AKB48
with a steeled mind and kept

thinking about what I could do and
contribute back to SKE48 ever since
I held my concurrency….



I truly had a lot of fun during my
concurrency with AKB48, made new
friends, set new goals, learnt many
new things….
And I also got the opportunity for
the things that I would only have when
I was in AKB48…

The time I spent in AKB48 to me
was really well loved



I didn’t have any time to learn the songs,
and it would be a blatant lie if I were
to say that I had no rough days but
nonetheless I had a wonderful time!

Working hard for something can really
bring joy to me and whenever I managed
to accomplish something, it boosts
my confidence,



But it is not like I did not
have any regrets.

Every time I see the positions
right in front of me when I stand at the back,
I would always ask myself out of frustration,
what reason was it that I came.

It’s not that I hate being at the back.

No matter which position it is,
it is always up to you whether or not you want to shine
so that’s why I do not hate being at the back.



However…
The reason why I feel so frustrated is

because I was in AKB48 as a member of SKE48.



I was a member of SKE48, but the other members
went further ahead of me, and I was pushed aside…
It felt as if there was nothing that I could do for SKE48.

As if I would not be able to accomplish
the goal that I had set at the very start…



The regretful and apologetic feeling
towards the members of SKE48 was
eating its way in my heart.



All I could do left was to continue to
work hard and give my best.
Just to put my full effort into
every single thing that I had to do.

I’m not a very smart person to begin with,
nor am I a physical type of person…

That’s why all I could do was to
show how determined I was.



I would always call the staff
to ask for the chance to perform on the
stage time and time again,
so much till I ended up crying…

I would enjoy every single precious
performance. And treasure it more
as I apply what I have learnt from
AKB48 and SKE48.



If I had performed more, I could have
gotten more fans to get to know
about SKE48.



I am at the back row during the stage performances.

But despite that, I want to tell you something.

SKE48′s dance, is violent.
So I believe that my dance would have stood out.
In a bad way.

I was honestly thinking if
I should have just danced conservatively.

But I am from SKE48.

No matter where I go, or what the situation is,
I do not want ever, to lose it.



Moreover, I wanted to pique the
curiosity of the AKB48 fans,
what sort of group SKE48 is,
what the girls are like in it….

That was all I could do but
I had decided to do it the best I could.

I was honestly happy when
we had an increase in fans who came to
our handshake events with an interest in SKE48
because of the stage performances and tour concerts!

At least I managed to play
a small part for SKE48….



And this way, I think I had
managed to become Minoru!
I am truly very grateful from the
bottom of my heart to have been able
to have gone through this.



There are still things I want to
do as a concurrent member of AKB48



One of my goals as a member of AKB48:

To enjoy it all, as a member of AKB48.



Up till now, we were always roused
by the core of AKB48 during the stages,
concerts and handshake events

But I have recently found something where
I can enjoy it all, as a member of AKB48!

And that is the concert solely meant for the Young Members.



The usual seniors whom we’ve always
looked to upon are not there during these
concerts, and so the young members have
to take charge,

The young members have to show off
the colours that lie in each and everyone of us.



That was the first time I’ve ever felt that
I had managed to make something with
the everyone else, it really made me feel wonderful…

Being able to bring a smile and helping hand
to the members who accepted me into AKB48
made me want to be their strength no matter
what it is that we have to do!



Then, a new dream began to sprout in my heart,
to be a strong and supportive member who
will protect the future of AKB48 with everyone.




And that dream ended with only one chance…
I was very disappointed that I was only given
1 opportunity at the Young Concert.

Even though I had finally found it,
being pulled out abruptly left me
at a loss for words.



Just right around the corner,
I could almost feel it dancing in the palms of my hands…

and the moment I grab it,
it all crumbles away like sand.



Frustrated, but I do pray
that the Young Member concert
becomes a huge success.



I feel sad that I will not be
getting any more work for AKB48 but
my concurrency was a meaningful one
because of all the happiness I earned from it!

This concurrency has give me,
who is completely unworthy of it,
confidence of which I can treasure.

I honestly had so much fun and
every single day was a blessing.



Finally, I would like to thank
all the members and staff.

And to all my fans…

the AKB48 fans who accepted
my concurrency, the fans who
gave me their support,

I thank you all deeply
from the bottom of my heart.



I love you all



My next move will be to break into AKB48
as SKE48′s Furuhata Nao.

on 755 she said it took her 4.5 hours to write that out, lots of emotion

 

Well luckily it took her that long, it took me 2 hours to pick the right words for this translation. Really racked my brains and it was dead early at 2am so it's still probably not as perfectly what she really wanted to express.

Its crickets in here.

Nao-chan ranked #24 after ranking #55 last year....HUGE jump and she seems very happy with it.

I am only expecting better rankings from her each year, but she has a lot of competition from her fellow SKE members as well!

 

Naochan had the largest jump in rankings for a member ranked last year [based on straight ranking, not on votes]
31 spaces in one leap !! Next up, UG center or Senbatsu !!!

Nao was voted the 6th most talented member to play an instrument by the stage48 users

Did she or Fuuchan perform anything special at their Team A send off?

 

On the theater? Nothing, if she perform alone or just with fuuchan. But, both of them and all member on that show was performing Sakura no Hanabiratachi after Oogoe Diamond.

And after that Matsui Sakiko announce her graduation.

 

This is late, but Nao centered Coquettish Juutai Chuu 2 nights ago on Tereto Ongaku Sai with Jurina

 

Ya, I watched it too. Somehow I feel happy for her. One step forward to be the (next) ace of SKE48.

Definitely going to watch this! I heard rumours of Nao replacing Rena as center. If so, I'm twice as vigilant as I was before!

Just watched it, OMG Nao was basically the main center, she introduced the group and everything

 

The performance was perfect and Nao has just cemented herself into center position imo. Good stage presence, a good voice, and plenty of cuteness make her the perfect center .
