[GAME] AKB 1/149 Renai Sousenkyo (2012/12/20)

As announced at a press conference this morning, Namco Bandai will be releasing the third installment in the AKB48 dating simulation game series, "AKB 1/149 Renai Sousenkyo" on December 20th.
Present at the press conference were two members of each group: Oshima Yuko, Takahashi Minami, Matsui Rena, Matsui Jurina, Yamamoto Sayaka, Watanabe Miyuki, Kodama Haruka and Miyawaki Sakura.

The game, scheduled to be released for both PSP and PS Vita, will include all full team members (as of June 6th) of AKB48 and its sister groups. A promotional video will be released tomorrow.

FAQ

Q: How can it all fit onto one PSP UMD?
A: It doesn't; the PSP version will come on two UMDs, one for installation and one for the game.

Q: Does it require a memory card?
A: Yes, for save games (both versions) and data installation (PSP). The size requirement of the PSP's card hasn't been specified yet but expect it to be 1gb+.

Must have that limited edition. 1100 minutes of making of footage is pretty crazy. Probably a good way to also know all the sister groups.

I will buy this game. I will love this game. I am excited to see what a date with Kimoto Kanon would be like.

But we have to consider what kind of character the game presents the player as. What kind of cad jerks 153 wonderful and deserving angels around, breaking the hearts of many of them, only to bring true happiness and bliss to only one of them?

I think if I was confronted with the horrific scenario of having the 153 most important women in the world interested in me in a romantic way, there could be only one course of moral action.

I would have to go to Watanabe Mayu and explain to her that she is God and that the universe exists to make her happy. I would then have to clearly explain who I was and all the emotional baggage I carry, and perhaps which members I am most romantically and sexually attracted to as well as who I was likely most emotionally compatible with. After such detailed and intimate honesty, I would ask Watanabe Mayu what would make her the happiest. That would be the only right thing to do.

Whatever she commanded would necessarily be the right course of action. The game instead leaves the character as the active participant making all the crucial decisions. In real life, you sometimes should do things for other people. And when a god walks among us, you do things for her.

You won't need a Vita for it. It's coming out on PSP as well after all. So if you got a PSP, you shouldn't be missing out on anything. The only concernible difference right now is that on the PSP it's two UMDs while the version for the Vita is on one card.

Ironically, I sold my old 3000 for AKB merchandise. I figured I should just upgrade rather than get the same thing as I had previously. Moreover, the vita seems to be pretty neat, and it has some positive reviews.

If only I had a tree which would just throw money at me. If only, if only...

It's not about being poor. It is more about them gouging money from us! I guess I shouldn't promote pirating, but I think only the collectors or hard-core fans will get the premium version.
