Last Idol and 22/7 are unrelated to 48, but =LOVE could probably be called a 48's granddaughter group (since Sasshi is a daughter of 48)

Sasshi also have another granddaughter group who lost like 4 in roll in the Last Idol thing rip so honorable mention and softcore promo them some awareness

Sweat 16 is such an awful name for an idol group, yikes. Not even in the "funny for English speakers" way like Angerme but just gross sounding, lol.

 

It's probably supposed to be a play on "Sweet 16" but punning with Sweat to convey the hard work aspect of it.

Still, yeah, more gross than clever

 

Honestly, the MEX48 thing should have died as soon as they anounced the "Like" project, because it's obviously what the tractactions between AKS and Televisa have become.
If they do a singing group out of this show, it will be the same concept as RBD; a group build with the show actors.

 

Only chance for a MEX48 to happen is if Iriyama becomes phenomenally popular in Mexico thanks to Like. If interest for AKB48 in Mexico becomes so high thanks to Anna, then maybe MEX48 will happen.

Unlikely but why not?
