    If I have only watched two shows, then they must be my favorites. Good acting has nothing to do with it.

    Actually I forgot about Million Yen Women. I did enjoy that.

    Watch Yamegoku. PLEASE watch Yamegoku. Yuko's just too amazing for anyone to handle in there.
    I still prefer Majisuka 1 over anything else though. (Except maybe 5)

    MG 1 was the best from those 5 series . Actually 3 and 5 have different ideas from their predecessors, it can bee yeay or nay

    2 and 4 is the worst so far for me .

    2 with yuko’s triplet ? omg lol . only rena’s gekikara fighting scene save the show for me.

    4 , its have 70% same storyline with 1 and only got slight differences . New Student with her way reaching the top off the school , fight 1 on 1 all the heavenly queens , but in 4 you’ll got the result how if the new student fight the rappapa’s boss at the end

    Agree, I cried like a baby after watching MajiGaku. While Acchan's acting was kind of like wth, Sae, Mariko and Yuko were amazing. And then there's Sakura no Shiori. Rena's acting seriously impressed me so much as Gekikara.
    Highlight of Season 2 can only be when Gekikara and Sae's character almost fought to death for each other. Yeah that was good.

    Since you like Takamina (at least you did at some point) I would definitely watch Mendol.

    Of the Majisuka Gakuen series, to me the first season is by far the best. After all, it has Nachu! I have to admit, I also liked the third installment with Paru. Didn't love Season 2. I HATED season 4, and season 5 was just too real for me.

    Ando Lloyd (with Yuko) is one of my favorite J-Dramas.

    I also agree with whoever said Gomen ne Seishun is worth watching, although Kawaei is really only a side character.

    I like a lot of Acchan's dramas. I think Q10 is worth watching. And I am also going to recommend Busujima Yuriko no Sekikara Nikki.

    I would recommend Initiation Love if you want to watch a movie. Acchan starred in it. The movie has a nice twist.

    Acchan does a good job and it's a role i never expecte her to do

    I'd agree with the Acchan selections - I enjoy her in everything except MG1.

    Throwing in:

    Mielino Kashiwagi
    The Gift (Rena Matsui)
    The Suicide song (Densen Uta), especially if you can get hold of the uncensored Hyper-time meta version subs put out by Nihongo ages ago. It gives it a completely different story line, but I remember there was a lot of swearing in the subs.
    So long, story 1 with Jurina Matsui. Think it was story 1, but definitly the Jurina story. Really liked that one.

    I also watched it. My boyfriend (Sakamichi fan) told me he was casually watching this J-drama and suddenly he recognised Rena.
    There was a part that didn't make much sense but I can't tell it without spoiling. But I liked it and would recommend!

    Wow I didn't even know about this, thanks. Just watched the trailer for Rena but now the story has me intrigued, gonna go watch it now.

    I appreciate your thinking of others :). Looking forward to a good twist or something.
