How come the issue is "Nana doesn't fit the song" not "the song given doesn't suit with her"? Is the song is being chosen first and the center will be decide later or the center is being chosen first and the song will be decide later? As far as how AKB48 run, I tend to the later.
Geez, why you all are triggered with his post. He said that cuz he thinks Naachan is fake lesbian. Period. Anyway, AKB is going to Kouhaku this year! Bit surprised since all of the predictions said that AKB would be dropped out but apparently it's not happened
i've never heard the whole song, but based on what i have seen/heard, it feels like kids under 12 are meant to like it. (what's a jabaja anyway?) going with that, i think nana is a good fit for such a song. "androgenous kid appeal"? as a bonus, at least it's not greasy like teacher teacher.
Now the question is "Which song(s) they will bring to Kouhaku?" Mngm might love Moeka enough to let AKB perform 56th single but I think it'll also be a good idea to sing a medley in which Yuiyui and Okada, Yuiri or Mion center a (popular) song. I prefer investing on members who will go far with the group to a girl who will graduate soon.
Wow, I'm glad I was wrong. Of course I want them to be invited again, was just a bit scared the NGT scandal would be reason enough not to invite AKB. Sakamichi seems to be where 48G was 5 to 6 years ago when 48 sister groups were also invited. I guess Izone didn't make the cut

It's the polar opposite of her personality. Reading back I suppose welp was saying something different, and it's my bad for using his wording, but my biggest issue with Jabaja is that it was Naachan's first center song, but it felt more like a Sasshi piece compared to something more obviously intended for Nana, like Coin Toss. It lacked depth of emotion and was too random and flamboyant, like the only thing the creative director knew about Naachan is that she liked girls. She still nailed it, because she's Naachan, but she could have done so much more with a more appropriate song.
Hmm there were some scandals around AKB this year, but I think that due to charity actions since 2011 made by 48 Group it can be really impolite to kick them from Kouhaku in opinion of many "neutral viewers". Their thinking is probably like: "OK, maybe 48 Group has currently problems, but they've helped many people after natural disasters and they are part of Kouhaku by many, many years so it'll be strange to kick them just because of one girl from Niigata who has already earned more money thanks to scandal than she earned as idol". By tweets of many AKB48 members we can see that they're so happy that they'll participate this event this year. It's real reward for their hard work during this year which is like storm for them and trying to sink their mothership. Honestly be newses and performances I can see that many top members of AKB48 Group are really working so much harder than top Sakamichi members. They have many activities, performances, but popularity of group is probably on the lowest level since they've released "Baby, Baby, Baby".
