It must be King Records holding them hostage.

The Sakamichi girls have all their music on Spotify on day of release. I imagine they don't get much from the streams compared to the actual CD sales (with HS tickets, etc.). But I'm sure those few million streams can pay for nice PVs/outfits, etc.

What surprises me is that they seem to be more lenient with YouTube, almost all akb songs old and new are on YouTube. Old videos like the ones from ssk are also there. Before they were quick to remove them.

What kind of advantage that KR will have by holding them hostage I wonder?

I find that if you upload in English it don't get removed quick. If you upload in Japanese it get deleted real quick.

With what the STU48 theater about to close; a side effect to the coronavirus crisis. Are the other 48 groups theater also in danger ?
And STU48 isn't the only venue in danger, some small ones are suffering the same fate.

    What you think ?

Tbh I think STU is a special case as ship do take a lot of money for maintenance. That's why STU stage ticket is a lot more expensive. It's probably not only Corona virus related tbh -- it's probably never sustainable from the start.

I don't think other theater suffers the same fate. Maybe HKT as they just completed their new theater. I think there are much more thing to be worried about more than theater IMO, like how they are going to refund all the CDs.

The new theater for HKT48 is owned by the same parent company as HKT48 (Softbank). So while not yet open, it probably is in no danger of never opening.

If a coronavirus vaccine is not found, theaters are soon in danger of closing due to the high cost of maintenance and rent.:(

Does livestream service won't cover the maintenance cost? A vaccine will take at least a year to be tested and mass produced, that is if we can find the vaccine in a year
