[GENERAL] The AKB48 Thread

Aki-P graduation announcement & Sasshi-P taking over. That would be interesting.

Edit: or even w/ Kitarie-P. Because why not. That would cover the lyrics department.

 

There isn't anyone to take over for Aki-P who meets the same qualifications. His worldview is, I think, a bit broader than most Japanese lyricists and producers, and his love for doing random shit for the sake of doing random shit would be lost if he gives the reins over to someone else. Now, it would be kind of interesting if he took Sasshi on as an apprentice or something and foisted off some of the workload onto her, but she would likely have to give up some of her current positions. She might have to leave HKT altogether if that was gonna happen (though I don't think HKT necessarily needs her anymore).

All these graduations and new groups starting up must be about to boil over to some kind of crazy announcement...or maybe Aki-P just wants to do a radio show with Sasshi once in a while and there's nothing at all to announce... :<

 

Plot twist: Sasshi is actually Akimoto Rino and AkiP plans to pass his role onto his daughter

 

another plot twist : we use the Edo Tensei (Reanimation) on AKI-P and it should last 4ever

 

Didn't Sasshi just get a kennin with STU? That was so unnecessary like nobody asked for it.

 

a bit off-topic, but Tomomi Itano released a new single and it's just so good. I didn't know Kings Records can come up with a track like this, and this is the type of music I've always wanted AKB to venture in.

(bubblegum pop is not really my type of music, but it's frickin everywhere in America)

I'm pretty sure it's not a thing for western pop acts to debut at 13 or is that actually a thing now?

 

Britney Spears, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, Micheal Jackson, ect, ect, ect, ect, ect, ect, ect, ect. It has been a thing, since before you or I were even born. And will continue to be a thing as long as one of the largest markets of disposable income remains teens with the parents money. Billions of dollars that are easily seperated from their holders.

If they are there for the main show, why would it be weird to be in the pre-show (which is just an extension of the main show anyways)?

It wasn't a bad stage, but nothing groundbreaking.
I'm surprised they went with Mokugekisha and I wonder the reasoning behind that.
