Ugh so many stupid hate comments from the usual suspects on BNK content supporting gay rights like Kaimook's

 

^ It literally makes no sense that people are going after the idols, when the entire of BNK & CGM changed their banners for Pride Month. How cruel people are in 2023.

 

I just noticed that BNK didn't held any SSK this year, is there any reason for it?

 

BNK's fans are mostly male and, statistically, men are more likely to be homophobic than women.
Also, it may not be exactly the "pride" that offended but the connotation. Similarly to how the pride flag has now associated with "woke culture" in USA, the pride flag could be seen as a sign of the controversial "progressive" political ideology in Thailand.

Nothing have been officially announced but, in general, some fans' opinions are
1. economic hardship. Thailand, like most parts of the world, has not fully recovered from COVID.
2. token devaluation. Former top members held significant amount of tokens and these token might overflow the market during election. So, iAm has been running small voting events to burn existing tokens from the market.
3. reduced competitiveness. They aren't so many outstandingly popular members. So, the vote battle may be lukewarm and not worth it.
It will be a voting event to be disclosed by the end of this month but, unlikely it will be the election.

What's a Chuang Asia Thailand anyway?

This said some JKT48 members will travel to Thailand to join this show. Some BNK48 members will join too don't them?

 

Chuang was the Chinese version of Produce 101. I wonder if this is the Thai version of it.

 

This is the same Chinese version. Since China has placed a ban on survival shows, they're doing it in Thailand.

If any BNK members join, hopefully they push some 4ki to go and get some exposure.

do you guys think that this upcoming 5th gen will we finally have the last team, Team KV?
It's been 4 years since Team NV was formed, too far of a gap

 

Well they currently have 42 members, 11 of which are trainees (so 31 members) - not counting Miori as she's announced graduation. Even if they promote all the trainees, they still wouldn't have enough members to fill up 3 teams. I think 2 teams are fine for the time being
