    Livestream is unfortunately geoblocked. :fp:

There was early technical difficulties, but against SMEJ's current ethos since last July (and back to pre-July 2019 scenario), this livestream is geoblocked.

    Code:
Official YouTube link is private, but someone reuploaded it, see below. But the official link was geoblocked.
COVID-19 off-topic: Japan could end up closing borders in a month or two, and/or more countries may be blocking visitors from Japan, which a handful of countries are right now, whether specific or global ban for each country.

So, "JOYFUL LOVE" has successfully won the second consecutive victory!
This song is very popular after all.
Then, "Seishun no Uma" suddenly ranked in second place, giving me the impression that coupling songs are indeed strong.
And "Yakusoku no Tamago" has risen from 9th to 3rd since last time.
Since Hinakuri 2020 in Tokyo Dome was decided, it may have been a song that has much more appreciation from Ohisama.
Finally, thank you very much to everyone who cooperated with this vote.
We look forward to your visit to this site.

That's a pretty nice top 5. Mine would be similar, except I'd slide in Honto no Jikan in for Yakusoku no Tamago, and rearrange a couple of the rankings. Sad Saizenretsu e ranked so low--it was one of my favourite songs from Hashiridasu Shunkan.

Hmm that’s a debatable top 5. Anyways I’ve been thinking. Is anyone worried for Hinata in the long term? As in now they’ll be managed. They’re still under the same agency as Keyaki (who are beginning to kinda sort things out) and I’m still worried they’ll have Nao as centre until whenever. They’re very inconsistent with their pushes when it comes to other members minus katoshi/kyoko.

I'm not particularly worried. Even though they're under the same management company, it feels like they've been handled by a different team (even if they really aren't). It's weird. But it's working for Hinata. Their top PR members have been doing the rounds on a bunch of programs. Their models have been getting regular work. They have several members acting on stage or on film. As a group, they've been having constant music performances and promotional campaigns. They also have multiple shows outside of HinaAi. They're super versatile.

On the music side, they're spoiled for frontliners. Nearly anyone can stand there and excel (just need Manafi to improve her dancing a bit more... Hinano too, for that matter. Ganbare!). As for centre, I feel that five 2nd gens (aside from Nao) are able to handle it if called upon as of this moment: Miku, Miho, Nibu, Hina, Konoka. They wouldn't look out of place doing it. I even think Tomita has an outside shot of centring one day. Then, there's the three Hiragana centres to think about. Each of them are plenty capable of carrying a single and its PR duties. There are no problems on the talent/ability end.

Finally, the big difference between Keyaki and Hinata is that Keyaki's image and identity became intertwined with Hirate Yurina, especially with Fukyouwaon. I mean, it's easy to see why--she was spectacular and her presence was overwhelming. And management became way too attached to that. It feels as if they were scared of choosing someone else because it might create backlash and lose sales. I don't think the same thing is happening with Nao and Hinata. While she has proven to be a natural and fitting centre for Hinata's image, she hasn't become synonymous with Hinata itself. It also helps that when Kyoko, Shiho, and Mirei go on shows, their status as centres for Hiragana are emphasized.

Personally, even if Nao centres the 5th single, I won't think there's a problem. In real time, that's about 1.5 years serving as centre at the rate Hinata is releasing singles. Not too long in the overall picture. Even more so because I think a lot of the members will be sticking around for a while, since they have a good thing going. However, I will think there's a problem if Nao centres the 6th. 5 is a good round number (if a bit arbitrary) for a maximum. Somehow, 6 seems excessive. So for me, 6 is the tipping point. Until then, things are chugging along just fine.

Yet another great performance. Also, Hamagishi's looking super pretty with that side-parting. Girl's growing into a lovely looking young woman, eh.

Apparently there's something wrong, the official hinatazaka account just tweeted.

that was a great show! talk segment was funny and we got the see the new 3rd gens dokkiri initiation.
also the live performance was fantastic they sang most of the songs live(mic on) and also we get to see 1st gens and 2nd gens(+hinano) perform their songs "Suki to iu koto wa..." and "Kimi no tame nani ga dekiru darou" from the 4th single for the first time.

It was announced that their tour which had a slight delay will start on May 8 this year.

    there was some mystery
    [IMG]

and a mysterious horse character named Uma-kun.
Uma-kun says: "I'm sure you're also wondering about who I am right? Find out at the tour!"

In one of the MC part before their Seishun no Uma performance Kumi was talking about Uma-kun and somewhat hinted "that person" is gonna appear at their tour.

I considered running off and registering the hinatazaka46.horse domain, but it's too expensive and I know I wouldn't do anything with it in the end :awesome:
